True. I was at the game on the BC sideline. After WVU won, fans went bonkers. I watched an on field official get hit in the head with a full can of beer. Not good.
I had the privilege to attending this game. We could not get tickets through WVU. My sister-in-law’s uncle was a Boston College grad and we were able to get tickets through him. We set in the Boston College section. SOME of the Boston College people were ignorant and complete jerks but most were cordial. It was one of the best college football games I have ever seen.

In 1982, Flutie: 9-for-33 for 122 yards, 4 interceptions and zero touchdowns against the Mountaineers. Final score: WVU 20, BC 13... In 1983, Flutie 23 -51 for 418 yards, three interceptions and one touchdown. Flutie lost 27-7. In 1984, 21-for-42, 299 yards, 0 INT, 1 TD. The final score: 21-20 WVU. Sorry

1:03:00 I remember being able to hear that chant clearly and distinctly from my house 4 miles away! I was nine years old.
Damn shame they didn't show more Mountaineer defense the second half. Those guys were playing out of their minds, won the game for us.
