The moment that commences at 4:54- they are circled around each other, no longer playing to the audience, but playing with and for each other! Powerful statement I thought- despite all the controversy and everyone saying that u2 is "done" they ended this concert with this moment. Their statement of, "we have nothing left to prove - this isn't for you, necessarily, this is now about us! " loved it so much! I was at the Heinz field concert. ..
I just Love this song so much. They didn't do it at the concert I saw on Sunday in London. I keep playing this and their performance of it on Kimmel. Brilliant song. U2 won me over, again and again and all over again.
Wow...i had read that U2 was ending shows with a new song but held off looking at other uploads..i waited for Paper Dolling Films version..glad i did...amazing song and incredible footage. Watch Bono's face toward the end of the song...he's in to it big time and very emotional. You captured a moment there Tim Newell...thanks for that...and for all your phenom work. You are an artist.
When you see them coming out hugging each other and looking with satisfaction at the show you understand why they have been together for so long and are a great band until today. This show's ending was amazing.
I am Croatian. Bono, The Edge, Larry & Adam very often visit my country. They are always together, very simple and frendly lads. always ready to give autograph or chat with local people. This song particularly sounds like their retrospective all over the years, started with The Edge guitar on 04:28 :)
Oh, man. Just watched this again. Have had the audio from Kimmel on repeat for weeks. Seriously my favorite song right now, and in my top 3 U2 songs ever.
To anyone saying U2 is "done" the same original 4 members have recorded new music together for 45 CONSECUTIVE YEARS! What other band has kept the same original members AND kept making original music for that length of time? And they are all like 60+ years old now and can still put on a great show They have 22 grammys there is no other band that even comes close they have almost DOUBLE the runner up Oh, and they have the highest grossing world concert tour of all time, actually have had a top 10 world tour EVERY DECADE they have been in existence Good luck finding a band to compete with any one of those accomplishments
[Verse 1] The night gave you a song A light had been turned on You walked out in the world Like you belong there As easy as a breeze Each heart was yours to please Is it only me who sees There’s something wrong there [Pre-Chorus] Oh la la, I’m not a ghost now I can see you You need to see me [Chorus] It’s the little things that give you away The words you cannot say Your big mouth in the way It’s the little things that tease and betray Has the hunter now become the prey? It’s the little things The little things that give you away [Verse 2] I saw you on the stairs You didn’t notice I was there That’s ‘cause you were talking at me And not to me You were high above the storm A hurricane being born This freedom it might cost you Your liberty [Chorus] It’s the little things that give you away The words you cannot say Your big mouth in the way It’s the little things that tease and betray Has the hunter now become the prey? It’s the little things The little things that give you away [Outro] Sometimes I can’t believe my existence See myself from a distance I can’t get back inside Sometimes The air is so anxious All my thoughts are so reckless And all my innocence has died Sometimes I wake at four in the morning Where all the darkness is swarming And it covers me in fear Sometimes, Sometimes, Sometimes, Sometimes I'm full of anger and grieving So far away from believing That any sun will reappear Sometimes The end is not coming It’s not coming The end is here Sometimes [Guitar Solo] Sometimes, Sometimes, Sometimes, Sometimes When the painted glass shatters And you’re the only thing matters But I can’t see you through the tears Sometimes The end is not coming It’s not coming The end is here Sometimes
Cuando me ponían la quimioterapia para controlar el cáncer tenía que viajar 7 horas y ya de regreso escuchaba está canción para olvidar un poco el dolor....
Thank you for this - it's great! I went to the first show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and they didn't play it....ran out of time (there's a noise ordinance - 11 p.m. cut off). I'll be going to San Diego - hope they play this!!
I know edge is a genius but as he stops playing piano and starts the guitar part the piano carries on! He really is a genius, is lawless back under the stage, great tune anyway from the greatest band of all time.
It's a looped track, you are able to do it easily with any instrument that's plugged into a pedal, like guitars or pianos. On his case it's probably automatic or done by Dallas, since the song has a tempo and you can set the loop to exactly that. Watch his solo version of Running to Stand Still.
It was meant to be the last on the album at this time, but in July Bono listened to Song For Someone and decided to finish, which meant to change the whole ending.

I was at the Heinz field concert. ..
That's one of my favorite moments Ive ever filmed.
This song is actually unbelievable
Such an underated song
#Timeless
You will see!!!
They can still bring it! Already one of my favorite U2 songs of all time, and I've been a fan since the mid-80's. Chills.
You’re the man Tim, U2 needed desperately today.
I just Love this song so much. They didn't do it at the concert I saw on Sunday in London. I keep playing this and their performance of it on Kimmel. Brilliant song. U2 won me over, again and again and all over again.
This song blows me away every time I hear it, thanks for the great video

Ditto! Knew the new song has been making appearances but waited to either hear it live or at least see a Tim video first!
This is the best version of the song so far for sure. Bono was so in to it he is almost visibly shaken towards the end. Pretty raw song to end on.
When you see them coming out hugging each other and looking with satisfaction at the show you understand why they have been together for so long and are a great band until today. This show's ending was amazing.

Stunning version of a beautiful song by the greatest group in the world
I always love seeing them play like this... like they’re just having a jam session and we get to watch and listen ❤️

Better than a fast-cut pro-shot. Thank you, so much.
Perfect tune. U2 looks ready for another 30 years, :)
what an incredible version, so powerful!!! thank you so much for recording and posting!!
This is such a deeply personal and melancholy-sweet song. It's like Bono and the Band are saying goodbye to everyone.
wow...amazing video quality....i was at show and blown away by this song......brilliant song...thanks for sharing this great video
Tom A my parents didn’t like the ending, but I loved hearing a new yet unreleased song to end it.
Thanks for capturing! My son and I were in the rail right next to Adam and Larry! Was an amazing time seeing this up close!
YES...this is the stuff !!!! C'mon *SOE* !!!!!!!
Unreal how great Bono’s vocals are. He’s almost 60!
Such a great memory of an unforgettable night! Enjoyed revisiting thanks!! 💚
I hope we GET that SUSTAINED BONO vocal note at the ending on *SOE* too...and MORE EDGE, Larry going crazy and Adam”s abrasive riff !
[Verse 1]
The night gave you a song
A light had been turned on
You walked out in the world
Like you belong there
As easy as a breeze
Each heart was yours to please
Is it only me who sees
There’s something wrong there
[Pre-Chorus]
Oh la la, I’m not a ghost now
I can see you
You need to see me
[Chorus]
It’s the little things that give you away
The words you cannot say
Your big mouth in the way
It’s the little things that tease and betray
Has the hunter now become the prey?
It’s the little things
The little things that give you away
[Verse 2]
I saw you on the stairs
You didn’t notice I was there
That’s ‘cause you were talking at me
And not to me
You were high above the storm
A hurricane being born
This freedom it might cost you
Your liberty
[Chorus]
It’s the little things that give you away
The words you cannot say
Your big mouth in the way
It’s the little things that tease and betray
Has the hunter now become the prey?
It’s the little things
The little things that give you away
[Outro]
Sometimes
I can’t believe my existence
See myself from a distance
I can’t get back inside
Sometimes
The air is so anxious
All my thoughts are so reckless
And all my innocence has died
Sometimes
I wake at four in the morning
Where all the darkness is swarming
And it covers me in fear
Sometimes, Sometimes, Sometimes, Sometimes
I'm full of anger and grieving
So far away from believing
That any sun will reappear
Sometimes
The end is not coming
It’s not coming
The end is here
Sometimes
[Guitar Solo]
Sometimes, Sometimes, Sometimes, Sometimes
When the painted glass shatters
And you’re the only thing matters
But I can’t see you through the tears
Sometimes
The end is not coming
It’s not coming
The end is here
Sometimes
U2. Fenomenal, como siempre, los número UNO.
Cuando me ponían la quimioterapia para controlar el cáncer tenía que viajar 7 horas y ya de regreso escuchaba está canción para olvidar un poco el dolor....
espero que todo haya salido bien !
wow...great performance and great vídeo.

Bono como sempre encantador
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME TIMES

Edenflow , its called a Looper! Many street buskers now use them!
The greatest band of all time not named The Beatles

Fechou com chave de ouro.
Don’t worry about the things, cauz every little things gonna be alright
Trop bon
This song also has similarties of Counting Crows's A Long December
I wonder one of a singer's worst fears is drinking some water during a concert but it goes down the wrong pipe and they gotta cough it out?
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
in the intro, doesnt Bono say this is the last song on the album? #soe
Sounds like it. Or maybe he accidentally meant of the concert?
It was meant to be the last on the album at this time, but in July Bono listened to Song For Someone and decided to finish, which meant to change the whole ending.
I want to sing this with you
What equipment are you using, this footage is amazing!
It kind of looks like Bono got a haircut a bit.

Just...
Mmmm the song I sang the final statement I made
