Keep in mind RetroArch is not a emulator, but a frontend for other emulators that implement the libretro API.
And it sucks balls. You have to go so many layers just to get into a game. We need an attractive mode for Switch MAME.

Retroarch is such a bad UI. You have to jump through hoops just to get to a game. We need CrazyMac to fix Switch to what they did with PS Vita.

It's not strong enough to emulate it. They share same chip set as invidia shield TV. Dreamcast and ps2 emulation not really possible at the moment..
How do run Gamecube games on the Switch? I cannot find a gamecube/dolphin core on RetroArch

@@anonymous2.05 check that the controls are blinded correctly, it should have an option to bind the controls to the switch ones, but if that doesn't have switch binding well we are dead, binding cannot be possible trough the games though, you must map them trough the emulator app itself

@@appleseedenthusiast Yeah, I already watched the 1st Video, I know the ones I should look out for. There's actually a good number of Jailbreakable switches in my country's market coz most people here aren't interested in it and buy either a PS4 or Xbox One.

Steve Clarke old comment, but if u still have this issue make sure u have the file that MW said you don’t need. The .cue file manages audio and audio timings.

I inserted the SD card back into the Switch after copying across the ROMS, but can't load the Atmosphere menu when opening the gallery. Holding R & pressing A doesn't work either. Any idea why?

you play your original games and free to play games using the original SYSTEM NAND (ie: SX OS turned off.. or not booted) and your backups on SX OS. You cannot play backup games online or risk being banned (unless they are your own backups - which have tickets etc. identifying them as belonging to your specific Switch console).

Why did you recommend Emuparadise? It's a well known fact that they shut down and removed access to all their roms.

if you want to mod any switch make sure its v1. the reason it is moddable is because of a vulnurability in the CPU that cannot be patched. however the switch v2 fixed that issue along with better battery life and maybe a few other features. as for this video im not sure but i dont see any reason why it would have changed.

As long as you avoid being connected to the internet while running custom firmware, you shouldn’t get caught. Also there are plenty of guides online that can help you avoid being banned. Also one of the first things you should do when jailbreaking the switch is create a backup of the entire system. This is usually for incase something in the system messes up and you can return it to normal, but it should also be able to unban your console since it’s restoring it to a point before it was banned. I can’t say the same for your actual nintendo account so I would recommend creating a second account just in case and use that instead of your main one.
@@KoiKittenVA it wont unban your console, once its banned, its done for. With that said, always make a backup still like any other modded console

I just tried a ps1 emulater and a psp emulater
- Tekken 3 (the only ps1 game I downloaded) ran very slowly, not really playable.
- When I tried running a psp game it crashed atmosphere and I had to reboot (I tried with a few psp games)
Do you maybe start the hbmenu through album?
@@OneChaos1 yeah I did try that and it stopped crashing to the atmosphere page shown in the video but the games would still not load.
That being said if the device had trouble emulating tekken 3 (ps1) I doubt it would emulate psp games any better, so I stopped trying

The Switch can't handle PS2 or GameCube
@@samrivers5288 The switch can absolutely handle gamecube, but the default operating system which you boot into(horizon) doesn't have an optimised working port. For people running Lakka or Ubuntu which are both linux based fronts, their is footage of Zelda the windwaker running at 100% speed with overclocking ON THE SWITCH!!! PCSX 2 the only playstation 2 emulator to work decently, unfortunately doesn't work well with ARM cores, so playstation 2 emulation will probably never be possible, their is however footage of Original Xbox HALO gameplay running in Ubuntu on switch, despite running very slowly

Can you make a tutorial on how to restore a switch nand? I attempted to update a banned switch to 8.0.1 I have a back up nand but idk ho to rewrite it. The SXOS wont accept my nand back up. It will write read0 and read1 but it wont accept the rawnand.bin file

Joking aside, nobody knows, Nintendo is laying low, could be analyzing data from consoles and it could do a perma ban to everyone later on. Of the few consoles banned, it's not possible to remove the ban (Google it).

Nintendo can't really detect these kind of online activities. However u need to make sure u turn on Airplane mode before u start playing just in case. Also dont go on eshop with the cfw on and u should be good

You can get after market USB n64 controller and can get adapter for USB C.

Use a HBL nsp instead off R+applet so you get full ram access.
R+App is built into Atmosphere so there is no need to install the nsp version. Also the nsp version doesn't always work.

Just found my answer: auto Rcm mode and then store payload onto an Rcm loader and use + button to find user 1 (fusee primary.bin) payload. 👍
