Its a silly idea but i think you should do a cutout of the badge on the airbag and it should be the perfect size to include it on the keychain for the car. More memoribilia to add to the sentiment of your new journey and the first step to a Porsche of your vision.
Dustin, you have so much potential with this car to make it a track weapon… a Deman motorsports 4.5 L motor and all the Verus engineering aero along with proper cooling and SPL arms, you can build something that will rival the GT4RS for a quarter of the price.
2016 last year of the 981 and GTS. This one has all the good options. He spec'd it right! One of my favorites in the Cayman world. Awesome find and will stay tuned for the build.

Kevin is a character and can see he loved that car. He was definitely pissed this had happened to his car, the badge of the steering wheel do something for Kevin with it when you bring him back when it's working. Even a chat with Kevin would be cool as he seems like a true car guy.
make sure you take allot of measurements of sub frame up front to make sure its square crash's can mess up that up. but yeah you took on a big job but it will be fun as heck too getting to be able to get to see how they assembled it at factory.

As a 981 S owner - you made a great choice - can’t wait for the content! Did it come with the PTV option? If it did, it has a mechanical LSD but if it didn’t, it has an open Dif. Your Porsche friends probably have awesome guidance for you on this but I wonder if an aftermarket dif would be worth it to you as a track machine. With an open Dif it’s going to rotate really easy on braking

Rebuild it to oem+ orrrrrr build it similar to the japan track cayman, that thing was sick. Either way cant wait to see what it ends up like
