- In today’s video I’m sharing the easiest guide to start working out as an Indian girl or woman. I am giving you a blueprint on how to get started on your fitness journey without feeling overwhelmed, without self-doubt, without shame, and without losing out on things you really want to do.
This video is a condensation of over 4 years of learning packed into a 30-minute video. So make sure you’re taking notes and you’re watching till the end because I’ll also be sharing my own workout routine and tips on how to get started without going crazy.

Hey Adete!!! I agree with a lot of the points you mentioned. I have been trying so many different workouts (Yoga, gym, walking) and Realised that it's playing badminton that I enjoy the most and I find it to be sustainable as well. My mindset while playing badminton is not "I have to do this for my body" but more like "I get to do this for my body and MIND". And on the days I don't play I just go with Basic Yoga asanas or strength-building exercises as basic as just Pushups, squats and Lunges.
I have realised that sustainability and simplicity are a lot more important than complexity and inconsistency!
Also, women who workout consistently are just better professionals, mothers, friends, and all the other roles we play in our lives!

Hi Adete! Such a detailed video! I never miss any of yours, pretty consistent 😁 So I just wanted to mention how I started working out, it’s from a TH-cam channel called ‘Move with Nicole’. It has peaceful and holistic workout routines right from Pilates to Yoga to Barre also clubbed with dancer workout, tailored from 10 mins to 1 hour!! I can’t brag enough about Nicole, she brings so much peace to me daily. ‘ MadFit’ is a great channel too. Also, as a pre-workout ritual I started meditating 10-15 mins just before my workout, and honestly my mental health and physical health improved. I am consistently doing it since a year and a half, 5 days a week with weekend as my rest days. Suits me really well!! Hope this helps ❤ Also, thank you for bringing such relatable content, it’s enlightening and comforting 😇😇

But addressing your issue...do you wash your hair after the gym? I've found using a mild, sulphate free shampoo for daily use really helps with gunk buildup in the scalp. The one from arata is quite nice.
