How did you determine which of the three sets of clips to use? Is it clear in the instructions? This is the only "clamp on" type roof rack that I've found anywhere that claims to fit a late model Dodge Grand Caravan. Probably because the roof edges are like no other vehicle I've seen. There's simply nothing to grab onto. I may order one anyway, knowing I can send it back if it won't work. But after shopping far and wide without finding a supplier on this planet until now, I'm just a wee bit skeptical. But thanks for pointing me to it.

@@glenmelton9308 I would have sworn I replied to this a couple of weeks ago but I don't see my reply now. Anyhow, no, I didn't try it. I decided to have a permanent rack bolted on instead of a clamp on type. And I see that this one is no longer available on Amazon.
Also placed the entire rubber thing in and didnt allow for the other end to be mounted with those 2 screws. Had to remove and cut im guessin. Overall decent vid thgh
My question I wan to buy roof cross rack , so I would like to know does it make noise when you drive ,

Why didn't you mention the brand or a link to it? There are many 48" universals out there.
Does this scratch the paint of the car? Like the areas where it clamp on?

We use 30 in the front and 65 at the back.
I found the clips far to thick and made doors very hard to close.....solution?

I agree. I tried this type and returned it. Rachet type worked very well with the large size.

My husband said it's trial and error. We figured out what clamp to use in ours by trying it.

This type is crap. You need the ratchet strap type that pulls at ends . This type lifts brackets up as you tighten. Very dangerous.
You used the wrong clips on the front but the correct ones in the rear

It also makes a whistling noise while driving over 50 miles an hour. I’m gonna have to get a windbreaker.
It sounds like a stove, old-school tea pot that whistles when water starts boiling
