Daria talks about 3 ways you might be over-spiritualising your Christian dating journey. Do you expect God to speak to you about whether they're your spouse early on? Do you look for little signs to confirm they're your spouse? Do you hold unattainable spiritual standards for who you're dating?
Comment if you're convicted that you're doing any of these.

This was really helpful thank you. I think I've done all 3 lol 😅 I think the thing about being judgemental is real, I feel like I jump to conclusions too quickly and don't give people a chance. Praying against that

This is a really good perspective and what I needed to hear today. When you meet someone from a dating app there's way too much pressure to discern straight away (like after 2 meetings) whether there is real potential. Sometimes attraction is immediate (often based on physical attributes) sometimes attraction takes time to grow so maybe fellow daters we need to give things more time to see whether attraction can grow... rather than writing people off straight away because they don't immediately fulfil our expectations. I've been guilty of both doing that and been on the other end of that... just saying 😊

If attraction is the main indicator of potential, that's a concern to me. Attraction should grow, yes, once you are committed but should Christisns let their attraction grow for someone that may not be their spouse? In my opinion people considering if someone is right for them should keep their space while they pray about it and wait for confirmation. It's the waiting on God that can't be rushed. NY husband prayed for 2 years before God told him "yes," to pursue me.

I wish someone would really deep dive into the question that bugs a lot of us single women… ‘should I be seeking or should I just trust God to bring the right person along in His time?’
Love your perspective on this video btw☺️
