hahahahahahahaha I was curious if anyone would do that!!?? lol That's what I walked into. You'll see my new place, which is just me now, will be a little more organized.
The boat ride from Juneau to Skagway has the most epic views of all the cruises and boat tours I've been on. Hands Down the Best! I sat on our balcony in awe for two-plus hours pulling out of Skagway.
@@purplewindpct he’s doing great thanks. He’s at Agua Dulce tonight. It’s definitely been challenging for him recently with some minor injuries but he keeps moving forward. Youth!
Hey Rob, in the back of my mind I have always had Alaska as a place that I want to go visit or possibly even live. Looking forward to your videos. Just curious what do you do for work?
Normally I work for White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad. This year I'll be working for The National Park System. Next year should be back to normalish? There will be plenty of jobs available!
Okay Rob back to life in "northern exposure" . Nice local hiking video, but where's the moose, grizzly and wolves? I want to see you do some alpine climbing up Denali, soon. BTW, I looked up Skagway on google maps and wikipedia. Wow, it's a really small town. Is State Street even a mile long before it becomes 23rd avenue? Your town population is about 1,000 people, but it swells to 2000 during tourist season(which is usually about 1,000,000 tourists!!!...but not last year). I hope everything can come back to normal soon. So how's the mexican food at Skagway Delights? and ice cream at Kone Company(do they even need a refrigerator?). Line at your DMV must be awfully short. Keep on...
There will be plenty of bears in future videos. We've had a massive wolf living in the area that should be making an appearance soon. We don't get many moose here, but right over border there's plenty. Yeah last year there was no tourists at all. This year we're hoping we get 50,000? 2019 we had 1.4 million. Next year we'll be much, much better. We hope.... The Kone CO is great! I cannot wait for their opening day. Kids camp out overnight to be the first in line, it's a pretty big deal here. And, yes they need a fridge. That was funny!!! I'm extremely critical of Mexican food since I grew up eating authentic Mexican food. So, I won't comment on the Mexican food here. lol
So beautiful! Look forward to seeing more.
That brings back memories I've been to Skagway many times. Along with Junea, Ketchikan, Seward and Vancouver. The typical cruise ship ports.
OMG! That's Duff's? I just received my new T-shirts from Duff's and I'm so loving it! Skagway looks so pretty and nice! I want to see more!
That's so great! I'm definitely going to show you more. Lol Thanks for supporting Skagway, you're great!
Anyone else paused during the views of the interior of the apartment? Just me? Lol. How’s your shoulder doing?

And, it absolutely never gets old!
Well I miss your PCT hiker updates but now we can get your Alaskan updates
I'm glad you're sticking around! I've lost over 100 subscribers since I left the trail? lol How's your son doing???
