Your videos are always full of great content. I usually watch at least twice. Thanks.

Glad you finding them useful. I can't compete with the young pretty girls so I have to do it on what I know!

Great reminder! I think to STOP is always a good idea when panic creeps in (it might not look like it whilst in the situation initially). I‘ll think about this next time.Thank you!
Btw: If you disguise any more, I will have the impression I‘m watching a forest talking… ;-)

After this series, it would be great if you show us how to take bearings on landmarks, etc. I think you mentioned that when you were in the army, you were an instructor. It would be so helpful to have a trustworthy person (you!) explaining a bit about map reading and bearings, etc. I think you have an excellent talent for explaining things simply and clearly. I am really loving this practical series.

Thank you. I wasn't in the army, I was an instructor in the army cadet force and Air Cadets. I did get some of the same training and and played with some of the same toys but none of that inconvenience of having to go to war!
I was actually thinking of doing a navigation series soon as it starts getting dark so early a little later in the year and I can do a lot of the theory indoors.

@@dogdadoutdoors Sorry for my mistake. But anyway, I really would love for you to explain about theory. In all honesty, most of us are never going to need or use commando survival skills but many people could use simple navigation ideas.

Hi, I'm a new follower, great videos, love the content. I think you are local to me, I think I recognise the woods you are in. Are you near Farnborough by any chance? (I don't want to give away your exact location).

Hi Jim, yes I think the woods you are thinking of is my local, if you ever see me around, say hi! Thanks for the watching and you might want to check out Mick at Hampshire Outdoor and Survival too as he isn't a million miles away.

Yeah, its just my wireless microphone. I've been using it since the beginning, but I usually plug a lav mic into that because it looks tidier. Was just a bit lazy that day!

@@painkillermoore2664 It works pretty well. I bought the DJI pocket 2 creator set and it came with that, really great setup to get going, but I'm feeling like I need to stretch my wings a bit now. Am saving up now and researching.
