I was able to bypass the usb audio routing in developer mode to hear playback on my device. Haptic triggers and rumbling as well as streaming quality all work great.
PS Remote Play from the play store works well to play on a different wifi network, does the video you show work on a different wifi network to play online from another city?

Works great when in home but the fact that I have to mess with my router settings just to actually remote play the PS5 in another place is a turn off. Official remote play app has no problem with that so I guess I'll use the official app when I'm away and use the PSPlay app when I'm home
If your chromeos laptop supports Android apps, yes! Tested on mine and works great. :) not all chrome laptops support android though, just newer models.
Man why does Sony suck so much with this. Couldn't even fucking use my dual sense with a slightly older Android version. This thing however just runs seamlessly no problem. Plus it there's less lag on it. Sony just needs to ditch their current shit and move on with this for the sake of the customers. Best fucking app recommend ever, thanks!
Hi, did you try to enter the IP address manually? Is your chrome cast connected to the same network as your PlayStation? If you are using a mesh network at home this might not be the case.
Can anyone help me with the setup so that I can play on my phone no WiFi just using phone data …I already have it set up and it works over WiFi no issue but I can’t get it to work on my phone using my phone mobile data I’m sure I’m not the only one with the issue I already tried messing with my router and tried the whole port forwarding thing but still no success can someone help me please
You can go to settings and select automatic remote connection. I think it asked me that option when i first opened tbe app. Lemme know if it worked@@joshuacruz2117
@@MikeTheTech small correction it's also available for iOS, tvOS devices. The app is called MirrorPlay and not PSPlay on Apple devices because Apple was not happy with the name and forced the renaming.

No, it’s Android only as far as I know. You’d have to use an emulator like Bluestacks or something, but results may vary.

In windows 11 there is native android APK support so you should be able to sideload it and launch it like a standard app!

No. Chromebooks only have hdmi out. Not hdmi in. This only works for network streaming.

The answer is port forwarding. You may have done something wrong. I have videos on how to do it.

For some reason PS play looks worse then remote play does. I have the z fold 4. Remote play looks great on my phone but ps play is blurrier
