And so far the Series X can't be repaired due to the way Microsoft designed the console. The PS5 can be repaired. So if you want your new console to last as long as possible power it off after use and avoid rest modes and quick resume modes. 👍
Actually rest mode on the ps5 is the same as the ps4. They both have an ARM chip which does all the work in rest mode and the drives are completely turned off as well as other components. And the only things that have power is the network and USB ports if you turn the USB ports on in rest mode. You really need to check your facts. Im so happy that I will be able to bring a part of my PS5 with me on my trip to US. Then me and my friend can play even though it wont be the best but its worth it🤭
Brilliant! Possibly the best tutorial I’ve ever seen.
I'm glad I came your video 👍🏾 thank you for the guild. I was able to link controller to pc (via Bluetooth) however the control only works when controller is plugged in (how to get it to work without the UBS?)
That's awesome catching a flight to Spain to remote Ur ps5 from your villa to Ur house in the UK
The amount of people who think that remote play only works on local wifi is too damn high. Good video
Yes, even after showing people in this video, I'm still having messages saying this can't be done as you have to be on the same network.
Some guy has even suggested it's a fake video 😂
Somehow my iPad cant seem to connect to my ps5 when I try it. Even if the ps5 is in rest mode. Any further advices maybe?
Love your vdo and love your style of presenting, so friendly. Thank you! 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
@@TheTechGiantTH-cam You're most welcome 😊
It depends significantly on which iPad you use. If you use an older ipad or an ipad that isn't an ipad pro, then you will get frequent stuttering and macroblocking. This is due to weaker ipad's not having enough gpu's to be able to play ps remote play well
the best review, very detailed and important notes too
This is brilliant, I am over in Milton Keynes for work training this week and regretted bringing my ps5. Now I’m gonna prepare this for next time and bring my iPad with me! Thank you for explaining this feature, whole lot better than Sony does
No worries mate 🙂
Thanks mate finally got ps5 controller to work on iPad , works great❤
Thanks so much I wasn't even aware u could this and i was only in the UK back at the beginning of July.
The best explanation ever can do, love it
What a time to be alive.
This is awesome man. Kudos for being so cool with fam!
Holy crap - I'm so excited to set this up! Amazing tutorial and video - thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
7:58 I lol when he said he went to great lengths to produced this video Haha 👍
Very complete overview, only additional information i would've wanted was how it reacts to different bands/types of connection, wifi, 4g, 5g, mobile data
Thanks for the easy guideline ... Getting ready for travels and looking to play a bit of GOW remotely
Nice!!! About time, ps5, I do this all the time on Xbox with my Samsung tab s8 now to try this with my ps5 thanks for the video
You made your own Project Q that you can play anywhere. Awesome
It plays so smooth!!
your video was the best full detail as other videos didn't explain the rest mode 👌🏼
Now I can play while I'm in the office tonight 😂
Thank you so much for this tutorial!!!!!!!! I'm actually travelling to New York for a week on vacation next month and I was hoping to find an option to play my ps5 games on my laptop. The only downside is that I have to keep the cord connected to the laptop...which really isn't that big of an issue.
How was the experience
Nice vid gonna test this out with Destiny 2 on a Samsung tablet, just tried it out works great you just saved me bringing my ps5 on holiday much more space in my luggage now💪🤙
You have a really nice home for a Brit. Most UK homes are pretty small and shite from what I’ve seen
I was todays years old when I found out you can do this!!!
I've tried this on my MacBook Air downstairs while the ps5 was upstairs and it was lagging. my internet speed is pretty good too. great feature when it works.
Very helpfull I realy understand everything and your very nice british english you are the best and your video is far more better then sony thanks you very very very much
thats what i call a clear explanation
2 things: Remote Play needs an update to support 2k60
2nd: what WiFi was you using Overseas? Can u use USA carrier hotspot overseas?
You sir, have earned a subscriber! Amazing explanation 🎉
Wow great channel. Everything is practically shown.
It's not just useful abroad, I've been using it in the living room, so my wife can have the TV.
The latency is mind-blowing though.
Would love to try doing this while on my lunch break at work...but I can imagine my electric bills will go sky high with my console being in Rest Mode all day!
wow this is so good didn't no u could even do this - will watch later
This is awesome and also very helpful as I work away doing fly in and fly out so I can legit take my setup away with me without taking the ps5
Superb video and explanation! Tho the resort is in the backyard it would seem hhahah
