Hello, I love popcorn. It's one of my snacks. All three flavors. I love your video too.

Nice looking setup, clean and effective. It’s a year later, you still using this rig or have you made any changes?

Do you happen to have plans for how you made this?

Where can you buy the burner? That looks a lot more powerful than the one on my Turkey fryer I was going to use. Great video!!!

It’s about the same as my turkey burner I think

Can I use propane for a gas operated popcorn machine?

The packaging of the "flavacol" salt that you use in this video looks particularly different from the original flavacol, I wonder if the taste is different too or is it exactly the same?

I believe it’s the same just the distributor I bought it from has their name on it “New England popcorn and pretzel “

I cant understand ,that how did you connect to the gas burner

    • @Jimmy-boots
      @Jimmy-boots  ปีที่แล้ว +1

The burner sits a few degrees niches below the pot and the burner has a rubber gas hose and regulator on it to hook up to a propane tank like a propane grill

Why does a kettle corn pot have to be round and concave at the bottom????
Why can’t you use a cut down 55 gallon stainless steel drum ??? I don’t know that is why I’m asking
And the table with 1500 hole in it to rake out hulls and kernels 2,000.00 dollars??? Why can’t you use a wire mess as you did or a stainless steel wire mess they do make them
I’m a cheap DYI kinda guy

I have thought about using a turkey fryer to make it as well which has the flat bottom I’m sure it will work as long as you are able to keep stirring all the kernels and they don’t bunch up in the corner of the side
As for the sifting table I agree they are a lot of money and I plan to do a video of building mine I have already started planning it out and I ordered a sheet of perforated metal I thought about using the hardware cloth but I was afraid it was going to be like a really aggressive cheese grater and tear up a-lot of the finished popcorn
Hope you subscribe to make sure you see the sifting table build

Imo it's better to build mine rather than constantly replacing the crap they sell these days.

I cringe when you are sturing with that metal stir shovel, dosent it scratch your beautiful pot? I've seen others that use a huge wooden stirrer for the job?
