I think he looks odd because while he has all the features of a male Cambion, he is set to body type 2 instead of body type 4 that all the other Cambions are generated at (the male ones at least)
Paladin is a half-caster and Sorc is a full caster so that's what you get from an even level split. Better than a pure Paladin but no access to a level 6 slot like a pure Sorc would have.
😂😂 lmao. I failed my first HM run in the last act after 140+ hours. This was my second run, so I was super careful and got stun locked overthinking every move.
On contrary, almost every Raphaël you can find is just about how to cheese him and shit. I want to see how he is dealt with by regular methods instead of watching a sequence rehearsed 100 times just for a clickable video
Nice! I was hoping to get on Honor Mode, but Rafael scares me. If you don't mind me asking, what is your party comp and what euipment are you using? I guess Soracadin Minthara, Swords Bard Thief MC? Those are the only two I recognize.
The party comp is: Dark Urge: 1 Fighter/1 Wizard/10 Swords Bard. The important items are Helmet of Arcane Acuity, Gloves of Dexterity (spend ability points on CHA, CON and INT), Band of the Mystic Scoundrel. Gale: 12 Divination Wizard. Any gear that gives bonus to Spell Save DC is good. Minthara: 6 Vengeance Paladin/6 Storm Sorcerer (Draconic is better but I don't like the scales on her face). Any good 2H weapon, heavy armour, gear that gives bonus to attack rolls, initiative rolls, increases AC. Lae'zel: 12 Eldritch Knight Fighter. The OP version uses the Tavern Brawler feat and weapon throws. I don't do that, but I got bored of Battle Master. So it's just a normal fighter that attacks 3 times per turn and uses the EK spell slots to cast Shield when she's attacked. Risky ring is the important item here.
@@itskwaide Hey! Didn't expect a reply, especially not one so detailed. Fully appreciate it. Some follow up questions though: 1) Why the Fighter Level? Defense or Dual Wielding staffs? Also why the Wizard levels I might ask considering you have Gale in your party. I initially thought maybe to add scrolls to your learned spells. 2) What do you do about healing? I am guessing the bard?
@@thefonz8373I imagine the fighter level is because Swords Bards get crazy levels of hits, so Action Surge allows them to wipe most battles in the first turn! And lvl 1 wizard is often chosen so you can learn any spell (can scribe any level of spell into your spell book!)
@@thefonz8373 This is a control build. For a damage build you could go 2 Fighter/10 Swords Bard for Action Surge or 2 Paladin/10 Swords Bard for Smite. For this build, you start with one level in Fighter which gives you: - Proficiency in Constitution saving throws. This is then added to Concertation saving throws and a lot of the spells that the Ring of the Mystic Scoundrel allows you to cast as a Bonus Action require Concentration - Proficiency is Heavy Armor - Archery for extra damage. In Act III this build ideally uses a bow and the Sharpshooter feat (I'm still using two 1H Crossbows in the vid which is not optimal) and the Bonus Action is used for a spell via the Mystic Scoundrel Ring The one level in Wizard with 16 Intelligence gives you a Wizard spell book with 4 spell slots that can be used for any spell learned from a scroll. I use this for Shield + 3 Spells that can be changed depending on who you are fighting.
Swords bard: jack of all trades, master of... all trades
sidenote but when you examine Raphael his lil figure looks so cute lmao he really looks like a mini you'd use for a d&d game

you're telling me hold monster works on Rapheal... that would have made that fight so much easier had I tried that
Yeah, it's pretty broken later on, once you start hitting 70%+ chance on it. It works on the big dragon in the last fight as well.
well played
i’ve been wracking my brain on this for about 20 minutes, how does your 6/6 minthara have a 5th level and 3 4th level spell slots?
Paladin is a half-caster and Sorc is a full caster so that's what you get from an even level split. Better than a pure Paladin but no access to a level 6 slot like a pure Sorc would have.
This was so frustrating to watch. JUST FUCKING FIGHT! My god, you play this like a Dragon Ball Z episode.

@@Joy-xu9dr But Action Surge is at level 2 and they recommended 1 Level in Fighter. 2 Levels is what I usually see recommended

I did a all out offense team
That's the way to do it!
How many reloads did it take to get that 4 stun mind blast?
It's honour mode, there are no reloads
@@itskwaideuntrue you can with task manager (but that is cheating)
Fake, thumbs down
