Do not pay 20k to use the portal, just pickpocket the pouch from the vendor, it has all the items you need in it. You can also access the portal room by a balcony, when you get the pouch, go outside and around the building, then fly or misty step up to it, and lockpick the door.
All the items minus the skull and incense are in the room itself. So you could do it without even talking to her. Really you can just tell her you will get the gloves for her... Then say you changed your mind afterwards with an intimidation check.
yeah you can just go up to her room, put water in the thirsty face trap thing to deactivate the trap and all the items that are needed will be in that room in order to create the portal
hey all just a quick tid bit if you have the party limit begone mod; hope only gives disguises to 4 characters meaning if you have more than 4+ people in your party the entire house will deem you as suspicious and you'll have to fight your way in Hope this helps a little bit!
I left my two near the beginning, that were also in my party and there are wardrobes that carry extra disguises. regrouped and they were able to enter freely
Also u can bring the rest of your companions 4+ if u go around to the wardrobe closets take the "debtors attire" and equip it to your companions!!! As long as they wearing one no one will care!! 💯💯💯
I ended up with an additional legendary. Its fairly easy to get it. Just cast divine intervention on hope to get the legendary mace and hope that it gets disarmed midfight
Did you know you can respec ANY of your characters into Cleric, cast Divine Intervention then switch back and keep the Legendary Mace? Perfect for dual wielding! I respec'd my Wyll to give his to Shadowheart

Helldusk Gloves should be on this list. A great pair of gloves for both martial characters and spellcasters alike. Best in slot for quite a few characters.
Im quite confuse as how you pick up the hammer after lifting up the spell barrier, when i picked it up, the whole library suddenly goes aggro on me eventhough im sneaking while picking it up and no one notice me
You can get Cleric hireling from Withers, cast Divine Intervention to get weapon pass it to your party and dismiss hireling, also can re-spect characters at withers into Clerics grab this weapon and change them back, not that unique tbh :)

Stole 1 Runepowder Barrel and Runepowder Vial from Philomeen in Act 2, another 2 Barrels to be stolen in Act 3 from Ironhand Gnomes hideout, also you will receive Runepowder Bomb from Ironhand Gnomes if you accept their quest, which you can complete without wasting it.
You can't, pick all the loot in Archive on stealth first as I presented, then pick hammer last and cast invis, simply treat hammer as contract and follow a video :)
Use a Globe of Invulnerability spell or scroll. She and possibly your whole party will be immune to damage. GG. You can even use her channel divinity nuke with zero repercussions.
I just killed Helsik then looted everything in the house until I had everything to open the portal, I got Hope first then just went on a killing spree for the extra XP.

If you don't have the hammer complete the guide until 3:47 where you enter Hopes prison, keeping in mind that in contract place will be a Hammer. Once your party is in Prison and 1 character left in room with the Hammer, steal the hammer, pop invisibility, join your party, smash the guardians and then equip the hammer to smash the stones, then continue with the guide from 4:11 :) *Edit* Unless you took Hammer from Raphael but didn't bring it to House of Hope, then you need to either get a mod and grant yourself that hammer or load the older save before you entered House of Hope and make sure you bring the hammer :)
You should be able to, it was months ago so not sure if they haven't changed anything but when I smacked them I had to go through combat with skeletons and then fight my way through corridors which was just pain 😅
@@tofupanda8168 you can make the run with your whole party from library to prison killing everything on the way and make a stop at Raphael room to regenerate, invisibility just makes it easier :)

@@iamcrystalwater2221 if it's for releasing Hope that you're asking, you have to have Orphic Hammer equipped as weapon on any character and struck the crystals :)
You can use Infernal Diamond instead, it's still the same portal, the only thing is Infernal Diamonds are around 600 Gold at vendor if you wish to sell them so It's a bit of a shame to use it for portal :)
I need to see how you did the fights, haha. So I went to the bedroom place, let the devil do what she wanted with me and she gave me the key to the vault. I figured out the passcode for the orphic hammer and undid the defenses, took it and everything else from the archive (with whole party in archives) and then when I leave the archives what do you suggest against the flaming boulders? They resist almost all damage and have so much health, idk how to deal with them. Or am I supposed to do all the flying/invisibility/mobility spells I can do to book it straight to the fountain bedroom again?
Tbh, I just outrun the boulders, they are quite slow. Worst comes to worst you can always right-click a target and inspect it for weakness, as for boulders water type damage can make short work of them. For the fight itself, I basically burned all high-level spell slots on all characters ASAP, then (since I ran my Gale respecced into cleric) I used Gale Divine Intervention - Sunder the Heretical to nuke the room, damage gets reflected so he dies with it, and then another Divine Intervention - Opulent Revival from Hope to revive Gale and refresh my party spell slots. Then again, I burned through all my spell slots and he died ^^. I also positioned other adds aside from Raphael in such ways that I could use AoE spells to damage them & Raphael and Sunder the Heretical wiped the room of enemies aside from Raphy. Also in regular fight, I did end up ignoring the pillars. Here is a good point to mention, the regular way of fighting him was a pain in the neck, so even if you want to save runepowder barrels I'd suggest at least planting a few regular powder barrels around pillars locations before triggering the fight so you can bring them down quickly as that will be a massive debuff for Raphy. Black Tentacles + Insect Plague + Cloud of Daggers is insane. My companions died many times and we went through many rez's. What a wild ride, I didn't think I was gonna make it. @@onsokomaru_
Ironhand gnomes give you a bomb to use at the foundry but there is a rune powder bomb and vial that can be obtained in the underdark forge area. Unique Dwarf npc can be bartered or for fun start dialogue with her and then steal the bomb and the vial.

So it's better to accept the hammer, free hope, and then steal the contract than it is to just steal the hammer?

Steal everything from the Archive aside from the hammer, leave 1 character with invisibility in the Archive room, and get your party to Hopes's prison, but instead of engaging fight at Hope's prison, steal the hammer and do an invisibility run first to join a your party, then free Hope and continue as on video. u missed a ring in hopes prison, u can loot it from one of the enemys.

This video assumes you took his deal... when you loot the hammer because you didn't take his deal. The house becomes hostile.

If you have any mage in your party, there is a level 2 transmutation spell - Knock - it will open any locks without rolling :).

Lol Act 2 Grymforge, steal it, Act 3 Gnome bomb works wonders too

Why is there a scroll on hammer pedestal?
There is either one, scroll or hammer, if you take a deal with Raphael he will give you a Hammer in exchange for certain "contract".
So one character with invisibility is supposed to go in and not only unlock the prison hatch but deal with the mob and two spectators?
