    Your solution to that problem was exactly what I had come up with watching you encounter it! Great minds and all...hehe

    3:32 that is a male Californian Quail calling for a female. Absolutely beautiful birds, I selectively breed them as a side hobby.
    There’s usually a lot of them in the wild because some breeders tend to set them free when they have too many. They’re considered pests, so it’s okay to catch them.

      And they lay eggs as fast as rabbits when they're happy 👍🌺

    hey mate. im a chippy an built alot of these sheds, re setting the purlin out to suit the taper of the poles. to tackle this make sure the pole is plumb on the outside corners (not inside) an everything will be square an plumb,
    the poles are always around 240mmish at the bottom but 175mm at the top, so i just use a laser plumb dot to set the outside corner poles dead plumb, that way u can notch it in fully and everything works good.

    I'm a disabled person, so I can say this : Safety First. Hope you can get help with the build. Looking forward to seeing more footage soon.

    I done my shoulder a few years ago, abductor, rotor cuff and bicep tendon both interior and exterior .3 OPPS and 16 screws later things take me time nowadays.slow and steady bro 👍 I was a blocklayer and a League player but now I have more time than I need to work at my off grid existence 😂💯🌺

      @@LivinglandNZ being slowed down is something I hate but it is what it is and it's all for me now so patience is everything and I try not to sweat it if I miss my targets .once you get an income or two running off grid you will be away and rolling mate.

    Who needs a gym when your working that hard!
    The injury sounds so so painful. Don’t beat yourself up about it. As you said you can still walk, but it sux. It makes for great content 😂 all jokes aside I’m sorry for the small setback. Sometimes you have to ride the highs and lows of life.
    This style of video footage is awesome, looking forward to the next, even if it’s surgery and recovery updates added in :)

    Feel your pain. I did distal tear of the bicep tendon 9 years ago with a scar to remind me of the event. Rehab rehab rehab if you want to gain the rotation you will lose after surgery. Good luck 🤞

      Thank you. I did my left arm 6 years ago, it is 100% now but I wasn't very good with rehab at the time. I will be very strict with rehab this time around. I need to get back to building ASAP.

    How wide and deep are the holes meant to be for your shed? (What goldpine specify?) I just ordered a 6x6 with them and not sure whether I try dig them/hire a borer attachment or just do what you did and use a excavator. My platform is already cut 1.5m into ground on sandstone hill so it's like chiseling concrete with a spade.

    • @LivinglandNZ
      @LivinglandNZ  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The holes are supposed to be 1200 deep as per the plans, and 600 wide because if the bottom of the pole is 200 wide then that distance again around the pole. An excavator is the fastest way if you can't get a 600mm auger bit. Just means you have to mix more cement as a digger bucket will create a larger hole that required..But hey if you dont mind the grunt work mixing cement yourself its not expensive. If you have sandstone then a digger bucket might be the best option ?

    Not the ideal start but totally know you will navigate this. All the best with recovery

    That’s a quail…..fu..ears,do in my garden if I don’t keep them under control..by the way,I always set my uneven posts,poles.. to the roof ( high attachment point,). …outside edges,4Q. ,if your cleaver you can notch them into the pole too…the bolts can be lighter and cheaper that way….
