What I love most about that cabin crew member was you spoke in Spanish, she spoke in French, and then you spoke in English, and she went to Spanish LOL

Aeromexico once delayed my flight to the next day due to a technical issue on the airplane, I was not on that much of a rush to get home so I didn't care that much, still to my surprise they took us to a fantastic hotel, I was served a rather decent meal for dinner and they put me on a suite with a jacuzzi, it ended up being the nicest part of the trip which was just a typical work trip. No other airline I've flown has ever offered me a sincere apology for something going wrong and much less compensated that well for it, its trully remarkable, and I was flying economy. GREAT Airline!

Mexico City, one of my favourites! Darn , I miss it. When things get to some sort of normal, its at the top of places to return to! Although the airport is about the hardest to deal with, especially for domestic flights. Found it very confusing. Although its just basically one very long terminal. Anyway, enjoy, get to the food markets, they are great.

My first ever flight was from Melbourne to Sydney in 1968 was up in a 727 and back in a DC9. I was 8 and thought that I would die of excitement. Still remember the thrill of it all, feeling so cool. It was with Ansett, my stepmum was the personal secretary to the Victorian manager. I was hooked after that.

Noel, I can only conclude that Air Mexico knew you were coming on the flight or had invited you. We flew Club Premier (Business Class) YVR-MEX-MAD May 9 and MAD-MEX-YVR June 2, 2023. I seen your review prior to leaving and was looking forward to the experience. We were imressed with the Aircraft, new 737 Max-* and 787-9, one of which was less than 2 months old.
Compared to other airlines the service was shall we say lacklustre and I think the only thing Premier is the name Club Premier.
There was none of the standard service of asking your drink order before you take off . After takeoff on all 4 flights the service attendents retreated to the service area and didn't emerge for 30 to 45 minutes with a meal and drink, after which they came by took the plates and we had to ask for a refill. for water we had to ring the attendent who emerged from the service area only after finishing their conversation with fellow staff members.
On our MEX to MAD leg, no alchol was put in the common area and limited snacks were put out later in the flight, MAD to MEX the Alchol was put out then put away shortly after takeoff when turbulance was encountered. In fact after 4 hrs and the Turbulance had subsided the alchol was never put out again. Snacks including waterlogged sandwiches were put out along with candy bars and cookies, at some point one of the cabin attedents took 4 kitkat bars and put them in their carryon bag.
Unfortunately one has to fly through Mex, Air Mexico would do well not to call it a business lounge but rather a cefeteria from the 1990's well past it's best before date, Basically no hot food unless you're there at 4PM and they roll out Nachos or mini sandwiches. Who would of thought an airline would call something a business lounge with no AC at all and it's 28 degrees.. In contrast the MAD business lounge was spectacular.
We found MEX to be very disrespectful to passengers, when we arrived mid afternoon about a half dozen 737's and 3 787's arrived concurrently, in immigration there were 4 immigration officials serving 15 lines about 120' long and one of the immigration officials was servicing flight crews. Of course with no AC. When we left 3 hours later our gate was close to the immigration hall, they had 14 officers servicing 2 lanes. Clearly when you said 5 min it was at that time you arrived. Departure MEX to MAD was delayed 3 hrs including at one point the gate being changed requiring a trek across the terminal.
Maybe i was expecting too much however compared to Westjet, Air Canada, BA, Cathay, JAL this airline has a long way to go to be in their league.

I just flew the 787-9 on AM from MEX-MAD, and the service and food were very mediocre. We’ll see how things are on the way back, but I was disappointed. There was definitely no bar on my flight either. I wonder why things seem to have been so different in February compared to now.

Hi Noel, love your videos, make me happy as you are so positive. Just FYI if you didn´t know or nobody commented, Etro is a very well known and expensive, predominantly men´s Italian fashion brand founded in 1968 by Gerolamo "Gimmo" Etro. A cool amenity kit thus!

Noel, love ya, but you're starting to get extremely non plùs about the seats. "Yeah, not too bad" and "it's alright" when you have what most of us would describe as the absolute lap of luxury. Please don't abbreviate the exciting stuff, like the seat controls and what you get in the posh seats.
Love your videos buddy and thank you

Next time there is a tram that goes from T2 to T1 and is free, first time I went to MEX they did the same to me and never again.

When you take a drive in Juarez, You need to take the city street that leads to the bridge into El Paso downtown to get the feel of being scared. Do it at night.

Looks like AeroMexico's B-787-900 not bad look aircraft. The only aircraft's I used over the last 12 years 777, 747 & A320, A330. Dreamliner 787 is on my bucket list....

Oh man. You got played... were you told there is a free monorail between T1 and T2 ?
I'm guessing you paid over 200 pesos ?
Anyways... I'm glad you sipped the tequila.. shots are a No No. Nowadays tequila is to be drunk like a wine.
I hope you enjoyed your visit. The arrival into MEX runways 05 is the best and most fun to fly. It is best appreciated from the left side or the cockpit for that matter.

Love your videos, they have me kind of interested in flying. I'm afraid of heights. I also loved the amount of tequila they wanted to share. :) Have considered the 'shaving cream on the glasses' trick for anti fogging? It worked for my aunt, just a thought. Anyways, safe travels and keep the videos coming.
