Rogue Legacy 2 is back and has all the trappings of a typical rogue-like (randomized runs, changing characters, and more), but with persistent upgrades, and persistent dead heirs. In this game, your legacy defines you. Spend your parents’ inheritance and grow the family manor to give your children a better fighting change. Each child is unique, with their own traits and abilities. Your daughter could be an archer. She could also be a Vegan. Also play how you want to. Go hard and fast, or take it slow and steady, and build your character up until you’re ready for greater challenges.

This weapon seems really good for a more Int focused build, since DoT damage is based on your Int and I would assume that the crit damage is based on your focus stat.
The new daggers, focused on status damage, might be more in line with an INT build to increase their damage while you play more defensively
One thing they added that can be done is that you can reset you castle whenever you want now. So he could do a full INT build instead if he wanted. Although I wish they added at least two castle loadouts for doing that since it's tedious spending all your gold again.
also feels like the higher atk spd incentivize more frequent obscura usage
Dear Pally - please check out Bravery and Greed - it's heaps of fun alone or with friends, and you can add burdens that you unlock, just like this.
Thank goodness this series hasn't died. The 3 that I enjoy watching is this one, Elden Rings, and TWWH3 w/Cpt Shack.
I think the issue is that you are focused on physical damage and the poison is magic damage.

Another thing that came with this build is the ability to reset your whole castle. I might be interesting to reset your crit build into a magic build.

In the relic room you need to climb in the direction of the pipe
Nice to see RL2 back, as for which version of assasin is the best, for your profile the base assasin is better, because each stack of poison deal 5% INT damage per tick, and you kind of ignore inteligence and focus on your profile, so it wont hit as hard. But maybe for someone who invested more in inteligence and focus this can deal a lot more damage.

These seem like they would shine with a few particular relics, but on their own are definitely a bit underwhelming. Isn't there a relic that increases some form of damage when you have multiple statuses affecting an enemy? That might be good, since you're getting the fire and poison on every third hit, almost guarantees proc'ing it. That with some of those glowing embers, and maybe a couple others i'm not remembering, would probably make this feel really good. Might even be that some of the new relics are meant to elevate this assassin variant!
Also, really glad to see more RL2! Thought we'd seen the last of it after the full clear and 'final ending', but I always love your energy in these videos, can tell you enjoy the game and that goes a long way towards us enjoying the content =)

That potion at 4:25 did do something, it reset your class ability CD.
I think with the weapons having CDR built in you can really leverage the assassin skill to get a lot of bonus damage when coming out of the shade

The new weapons might be interesting for some other bosses, they definitely didn't help you too much on this one with your currentstat build.
I think if you can get the boxing bell with these it would stack damage really quickly

Ng+12 and pally still didn't learn damage types,o I wonder why his dex stacking castle doesn't to good poison damage

With your build i think normal assassin is better.

Seems regular assassin was better. With Pally's account being a Dex/CRIT build maybe there is another Stat that increase DoT damage or the time it lasts.

The fangs arent made for your build which is why they do less damage than the reg assassin weapon. They are made for INT builds who before really only had chef spoon for easy access to status effects.

From watching this the dragon teeth seem like a skirmisher play style. I think it also relies on the assassin ability more being able to bring it off cooldown in 2 combos instead of 3.
Been waiting for this! The new weapons are pretty awesome. I'm loving the assassin subclass, I barely played the class before but the dragon teeth are great, also you can cancel the attack animation by dashing. So not fully locked in
the new daggers feel really undertuned, especially considering the fact that you lose mobility as well as burst damage.
He just isn't Int focused. Poison does 5% Int per stack in damage. Burn is 55% Int every tick.
