PLEASE Like and SUBSCRIBE! As you know Carolyne is in Australia helping family out. So you got me here. What a completely different way of riding to what we are used to. Very fast at times and going on the dirt roads was really fun. Loved it. Need new Gopros, the lens in one has a crack, didnt realise until we had seen the footage back home (thats the mirror effect you see in the shots) The Vegkop place was fascinating, 33 guys with Muskets fought of 5000 Impi Warriors. Each man had 3 guns and he was able to fire almost continuously as other people loaded the weapons. ANWAY HOPE YOU ENJOY!!

Huge, and so flat. Best way to describe it is it’s like steps, long flat bits then a cliff face and mountains to drop a level and repeat.

Hope all is well in Australia. Africa is huge but never been myself and hopefully someday people will be able to ride the whole continent. Most likely not in our lifetime safely and conveniently on great roads. Having had a few ktm bikes they are worse than harleys for bolts etc,always need tightening the kick stands were junk,200$ for one and they were very frail. Grew up on dirt roads even my hometown wasn't paved for many years.

@@BunnyKingHogs And now the new BMW R 1300 GS is being recalled again for fixing the faulty starter relay which has been setting bikes on fire apparently. Awful quality control on expensive bikes!

normally 30mph verses 164 kph/101 mph wow travelling fast!
We hit some speed on the dirt roads, way more than we expected
Brian, I believe you can change the lenses on the GoPros
We going to get some new ones, we had a few issues with them, think the dust caused a few problems

We asked for permission from the curator who then showed us around the museum. She was more than happy as apparently it’s a done thing that visitors do. They ask not to climb the rocks
