In the Skies Above Stalingrad: Jagdgeschwader 3 Fights to the Last Man!

In this video I team up with a fellow sim pilot in cooperative online mode to re-enact the last days of the Battle Of Stalingrad flying yellow 6 BF109 F4 belonging to Oberleutnant Georg Schentke of JG/3 who as part of the volunteer Platzschutzstaffel (Airfield Defence squadron) attempted to clear the skies of fighters in in-climate weather to allow the Transports through to Pitomnik airfield to supply the besieged 6th Army.
This small volunteer unit managed to claim 130 victories over a 6 week campaign with Schtentke himself accredited with 29 kills during this period.
My wingman is wearing the livery of yellow 4 Eberhard von Boremski who was credited with 104 aerial victories.
