One of my favorite drummers in math rock. He has a hip-hop/breakbeat quality to his drumming that I love. Also it's awesome that he has a KKB shirt on.

@@kevinaman8266 he's credited in the liner notes, and he's performed with them in their home town, where mario introduced him as "The guy that writes drums on the album". there's a few threads about it in their reddit. nathan writes a song here and there but especially early on it was all his teacher

He almost always plays a Tama SLP power maple but it's hard to tell in this video
Its not a power maple - at around 0:57 you can peak at the snare and its not the same marble black. Possibly SLP Bubinga?
Oh shit you're right, I didn't notice that before. Definitely looks like the slp bubinga from what I can tell. I also recently seen him use a slp hammered steel.
