Yep, dedicated to the yarny goodnes, lol! It was overwhelming at first, but it really helped me see what I have in my stash. Once it's done, it makes it so much easier to see what I have for projects. : )
Hi Kristie. As part of my new year organization and goals, I did a yarn inventory and put it on an excel spreadsheet. My is similar to yours but different. You have done some things I didn't think of and I really like. So I will be tweaking my inventory sheet. Thank you greatly for sharing!
Thank you so very much. I have everything written down so now I can get it better organized and track it better. This is going to be so helpful!!!!!Thank you thank you thank you 😊
I have started collecting patterns and yarns and created a list of 'projects' but found what you have created to be what I need. Any chance you could produce a workbook template with a guide on how to use it? That would be great!
How neat! My classroom at the high school is on the business/computer hall. The teachers on either side of me teach Excel, Word, etc. I'm always surprised when I have students that don't know how to use the programs. Excel can be integrated with charts in AutoCAD, so when you change one, it changes the other. : )
I love having mine! It's so much easier to pick out yarn for a project. Just have to remember where I stuck it! Might need to add "location" to the list! 😆
That's awesome!👏 Thanks for explaining..... I need to look at a better way of knowing exactly what yarn I have & this might be just the organisational tool I need.👍 I'll come back to this to help me set up my records.... though I'm not sure I want to know exactly how much yarn I have!!😜 Zee & Laura (Mad Mimi) mentioned you, so I've subbed & look forward to getting to know you.😀 Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
Hey Kerryn & welcome to the channel! I'm so happy to have you here & look forward to getting to know you as well. I have a couple friends in Australia & I believe one is in southern Australia and one is in the north. I hope you are safe & doing well with all the fires going on. I'm glad you found the video useful! 😊
Thank you for sharing this. I may put it to use and figure out how much yarn i have...ummm or maybe i'll keep the suspense a little longer so don't give hubby a reason to say i have too much 🤣🤣, just kidding
Great idea! Thanks for sharing!
You are a dedicated woman. I started this 2 years ago and then got overwhelmed by the amount of yarn I had. I may just pick it up again.

You're welcome Monica! : )

Cool! It's good to know I'm not the only one that does that! 😃

You're welcome! I took pictures of all my yarn labels to do mine eventually because I got tired of writing everything down, ha ha!

I teach online Excel classes so this was fun for me to see it put to practical use.

I stopped using mine last year. Will have to pick it up again.

@@Teadoddles Thanks! I'm in a very safe spot by the sea, but sadly many are losing everything with the fires! Tragic!💕🐨
Thank you this could be helpful, I sure do need something like that so that I can figure out what all I have
You're welcome! It really helps me out when I'm looking for yarn for a project. : )

Ha ha! My husband would never see my list because he could really care less. He knows I have a lot of yarn....just not how much! 😅
A lot of the windows 10 computers have a hot key combo to access (xbox game bar) to screen record . [Windows] + [G]
Good to know!
This is very helpful. However, It might be to overwhelming to see how much yarn I have.
It was overwhelming for me at first, but it was also motivating! Seeing all my yarns & getting reacquainted with them sparked some super maker mojo! 😄
