I have to go threw my collection, but the oldest stuff that I can remember I have sealed are the Zelda Oracle games. I'm tempted to send them in, bit I'm hesitant to do it because I rarely ever send anything in to anyone or anywhere.
I’ve got a few things awaiting grading at WATA. I came across a yard sale a few weeks ago and asked the lady if she had any video games and she did. She was the manager of a toys r us when she was younger. I got a sealed conkers bad fur day for N64, sealed Mario Kart 64, Sealed Perfect dark 64 and sealed Donkey kong 64. The condition is immaculate since she was an adult and just grabbed them when they were going on sale and they have been in a box ever since. I genuinely couldn’t stop shaking when she pulled them out. And the crazy part? This was only the sealed items. There were about another dozen CIB games along with sealed accessories and the Nintendo 64 itself. And the lady only asked for $150!
All these sealed, 25 year old, not rare games selling for millions will ruin the market for people who just want to collect.

Okay so you know all the people who are saying they wish they would have kept sealed stuff when they were kids? Guess what none of that stuff would be worth a fraction of what it's worth now if everyone kept everything and pristine condition so all the people keeping stuff in pristine condition now good for you and I'm sure you'll be one of the few people who does it LOL

Did you pickup that e-reader at the Fort Wayne store? The McVans blowout was awesome. they were selling everything at loose cart prices, and I managed to get 2 copies of Super Bowling for 64, one sealed, and one opened, but mint for $9.99.

I think you can grade switch games if you get a limited physical copy from one of the companies and say it’s numbered 1-500 and you draw a #1, I truly believe it will no doubt appreciate or some rare variant like black spines demons souls sealed…. no doubt rare and possibly getting more rare

People are going to start buying 2 copies of sealed games. One to throw into a plastic sleeve/box protector, and one to play. Wish I would've done more of this but I was only a gamer back when these baddies came out. Sure I kept my stuff cib, but only started truly collecting the last 5-7 years.
The Wal-Mart near me was trying to get rid of most of these games years ago for $10 stacks of them including wiiu breath of the wild and the ds games. No one wanted them. Crazy what people will pay for now when they could have had them for $10
Does VGA professionally clean the games before slabbing them? I have a sealed Little Kings Story with the promo stress toy attached, which I never see for sale, but it is dusty from being displayed. The wrap has little air holes in it and I'm afraid of getting moisture in it. I don't even know if they would grade such a thing.

Fire Emblem Fates Special has the 2 regular games plus the third game which was DLC only all on the cartridge. That’s the big draw.
EB Games would reseal games if the original plastic wrap was becoming loose. Probably a never touched game though.
I have a sealed Pokemon White 2 also and have been wondering if it's worth grading and selling. I'm really curious if you decide to send in your 3DS and DS games or wait for Wata.

Would you grade heart gold/soul silver sealed with VGA, or wait for WATA? I'd like to get it graded with WATA but who knows if they will even grade it because of the big box

My dad has a sealed Nintendo 3DS xl Zelda a link between worlds edition console. From what I understand it was a limited release. Definitely worth grading imo
Im 40, i remember as a kid buying nes games, i used to beg my parents or whoever was buying me the game that day to buy me 2 so i can keep one sealed, nvr worked lol, but idk y but even as a kid i always wanted to have a open one and sealed one, i had like 35 nes games as a kid i keot all boxes and manuals, wen we moved from the house i lived in from birth until 12 my stepdad threw all my boxes and manuaks away, i was pissed

So you invest into this grading to sell them or just to keep them protected in your collection? It’s a huge investment for the later option. And how well is it protected? Does it survive fire?

Depends if you're goin through Wata or VGA. VGA is a little more time consuming.

@@ChaseAfterTheRightPrice because that's ridiculous. It's not even a rare game. Games like the NWC carts or Stadium Events deserve to be worth money, because they are rare. Now everyone is going to grade all they're sealed games. Pretty soon a sealed copy of Glover for the N64 will be worth millions, and that's a shame.
It is definitely a wild number. I don’t think it means that games will just continue to go up though. The market will correct and figure it out. It always does and has ups and downs and what not. It will be interesting to see how it plays out
