That coin dead centre in the thumbnail immediately caught my eye. I dug up an 1838 bank of Montreal penny or half penny here in Ottawa. Has the same obverse. Cool video!
WOW another score, James! So many interesting tokens and medals. I think you are getting more bang for your buck in the antique dealer's sales than at your local banks.
Completely agree. Of course, coin roll hunting is always exciting, but if I can buy a lot of coins essentially at face value and find old coins and silver, well, the odds are so much better...
Have you found the health 2000 coin? I found it in a Canadian corner off of eBay which is the one that got the King. George VI pennies and those young head 12-sided edge nickels and two regular young head nickels and also that's where I got the 1969 quarter that almost was going to be one year off from 50% Canadian silver
I'm pretty certain I've found all of the 1999 and 2000 coin roll hunting, including the Health. There are some varieties in those years, that I haven't found (yet!).
I just ask at antique shops and estate buyers. They find these types of things all the time. Just ask and you never know what you might be able to find!
For me, I want to ensure that I get good value out of it. But it could be hit or miss. So far, I've done really well. But one might end up being a dud!
Lots of fun going through collections, for sure! Interesting variety. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks!!

I love these old tokens, and they are pretty accessible for some pretty old pieces.

Thanks, Tom!
Very nice.I would love to acquire a collection like that.I never use staples on my 2x2s.I use clear tape(never scotch tape for it yellows over time).
Interesting - Does the tape hold them in tight enough?
@@CADRollHunter Yes if you the tape against the 2x2.I have not had any problems since I started using tape, after much trial and error.
@@CADRollHunter Sorry,I missed the tighten the 2x2 as you put the tape on,lol.

Check the 22 nickels for Far Rim!! Just saying. The 53 looks like a strike thru. cheers JJ
I think you could be right about that 53. It just looks to nice overall for damage - I'll take a closer look!
