- In this video are some sound clips of the exhaust on my lowered chevy c10. The mufflers I have are black widow neighbor haters and I believe that these are the best sounding mufflers out there. If you are questioning what mufflers to get, don't question it anymore. Seriously. I also have hooked headers and a chevy 350 paired with a 700r4. My truck is a 1975 Silverado and it is lowered 6.5/8. The wheels on my truck are 20" rocket racing booster chrome.

Yeah, it’s not even close. Black widow has the best sound. The only real challenge is deciding what model black widow makes is gonna give you the sound you want. I think if it’s is a 4-cyl or a 6-cyl you want a venom 250 or a race venom. If you have an 8-cyl then that is where the neighborhater and angry housewife or race venom is really gonna shine

I have the Neighborhater on my 3.9l Dakota and i love the way it sounds. It had a Flowmaster Super 10 when i bought it, but i replaced that with the Hot Tamale from Paradox Performance. Both the Hot Tamale and Neighborhater sound amazing.

75 was the first year for the Silverado trim level which replaced the previous Cheyenne Super. Those o Chev & GMC square body models were produced from 73 - 91 except the half ton & three quarter ton plain cab pickups were finished in 87 & the one ton plain cab pickups were finished in 89. Like the one ton plain cab pickups, the medium duty series models which are the bigger size trucks with the same cab design but with a smaller rear window were also produced from 73 - 89.

Yup. Had these on my c10. Just had the mufflers on w/o any further piping. Loved the way it sounded. Gonna be putting some on my 70 Camaro mext

Which black widow is loudest ? Idk which I should go with I’ve looked at reviews and they all seem pretty good I have a 06 5.3 with cats and stock headers
The neighbor haters are the loudest one they make. It is a very small muffler and it's basically a straight pipe that changes the tone of the exhaust. I've not heard it on an ls but it would probably sound really good.

Thank you! I have it dumped like a foot in front of the axle. It's dumped sideways though so I don't kick up a bunch of dust.

i run the black widow x and their neighborhaters and i think my car sounds pretty damn good, want to do cams and headers soon but thats a bit pricey lol

Me personally I would put the neighbor haters on anything and everything. Depends if you like your car super loud or not though.

I have venom 250s on my 73c10. 400sbc hooker shorty headers 2.5 inch tube true dual. Love Blackwidow. Gonna stick with them
Thinking about putting them on my truck, are you actually able to have a conversation in the truck? How bad is the drone?
Oh yeah I mean the truck is super loud but it really isn't bad at all inside the cab. Like I can have a conversation or listen to music no problem. I think that's one thing black widow promotes about their mufflers is that they have no drone.

I personally think so because it will give it a better quality sound rather than the open header sound if that makes sense.

Are these louder than flow master outlaws?
I haven't heard the outlaws in person but the are probably very comparable. The black widow I believe is just a tad smaller but I also just like the tone of black widow mufflers more than flow master.
Ima little late to the game, and Im sure your mufflers have been bought by now. I went from a FM super 10 to the outlaws (true dual 2.5" with H pipe) bc I wanted louder than a super 10. The OL are definitely louder but have a bad sound at idle (my truck is cammed). Sounds like an exhaust leak every time the cam chopped. In fact the OL actually smoothed my cam out a bit (which I did not want)
