Coed Y Brenin "The Beast"

17.05.13, we did the Beast at Coed Y Brenin. Best bits were Adam and Eve, Abel, False teeth and the Addams family sections (although I missed recording Uncle Fester, which was a particular highlight and always one of my favourite sections)
Did a GPS track and it said we'd climbed over the stated elevation on the map pack. 1200m climb and around 35Km.
Excuse my stupid squeels etc... we really did have a blast. Ridden on a Spesh Stumpjumper FSR 2010.

I snapped my collarbone on false teeth, popped a few pain killers and carried on. Awesome place.

Down in Wales two weeks ago, did the beast. Trail centre tracks were cool. Nice long techy flowing single track, great climbs and enough rocky techy sections to keep youir mind on the job. . Probably best trail centre in UK, of the ones ive been to anyway. Although I did get lost and found it sometimes hard to follow, so could be way marked a bit better.

Thanks for your comment! Yeah Coed-y-brenin is defiantly a place to keep you on your toes, what a trail centre. Have you done other centres in North Wales?
