In this video I will do unboxing to show what this camcorder comes with and how it works outdoor. I have not spend much time to learn about different setting so in this video is very basic video recording from hand hold but the camera does have many modes to record videos or take pictures and use it as webcam.

I use my phone for my videos, but I struggle with sound. I would love to use a wireless lapel mic but my phone won't accept one as an input (S20 FE). How do you get around the sound issue recording with your phone?

I wanna make a TH-cam channel I’m 10 years old. I’m a streamer, and I don’t know how to make videos with it I stream with my phone.
Questions? I got this same camera but 8k version. I notice when zooming in the video quality look very grainy and compressed when uploading it to a PC. Originally i figure it was the SD card so i got a higher quality SD card that supports 8k. So no huge changes video quality still look grainy/compressed. What would you recommend as you video looks way better than mind.
Any recommendation for SD cards or even transfer cords i should use instead of the USB cord that came with camera to get better video quality?
This is a good option for beginners. I have one. Yes it's generic and the video isn't the best quality but it's a great starter camera for kids to understand how cameras work. Then once they get a better camera they can see the difference with the knowledge they learned. These cameras do not have stabilizers in them like the go pros. They are not meant for sports activities. They are great using tripods or a camera balancing stabilizer.
They have a fixed aperture so it's easy for beginners.
After buying a $500 sony camera and a student ruined it by dropping it in the water in a camping trip, this is now the best option for me when kids are around. The student bought me another Sony but it was a lesson learned for both of us.
Don't underestimate these cheap cameras. Photos can be edited in Photoshop or editing apps too. Most do that anyway.

Thank you for this video. Cameras are very expensive so are smart phones with great pictures. I think it's a great start up if one is not in a financial position to do so. Have you found new tricks on making it better in any way?

I guess it works. The colors are editiable with the right editing software. The sound you could "mask" with a nice music file. Also the software can stabilize most of the movements. Otherwise you should have used a tripod.

I used up my sd card it came with & installed the additional one it came with,but couldn't use it cause the touch screen wouldn't work when I tried formatting it.

I was using this camcorder yesterday for the 3nd time since my purchase, everything was fine but today when I turned on the camera, the image is upside down and although i used both the menu and the mode button i cannot reverse the image. How can I correct this?
Mine image becomes blurred whenever I make a sharp move, like pixels are showing error blur and than it come back to normal when I do it at 4k mode. The o ly mode 1080p 60 is the normal mode that doesn't cause issues

No you can shut those sounds off. In the settings..
It won't detect the SD card most of the time. I have to keep putting it back in. Then when I try to play back something ot says it incomplete. And every thing is upside down
probably software issue . I would contact the seller or return it
I could also be that your SD card is not fast enough. 4K uses a lot of memory so the card has to be fast.
You have to format sd card for it to work correctly
This camera is okay the only issue I have is with the battery life. They only last about 45 minutes or so

hi, i have this camera and i dont know how to connect the camera to mu computer to get the videos on my computer, can you make a tutorial?
You could take out the SD card and use that in a slot or SD card reader on your computer. Or I guess that connecting via USB should also allow you to transfer from the camera if you don't want to purchase a SD card reader, but the latter are very cheap. You also may not have the codecs in your computer to play the video.

Battery is upside down inside the camera. You are going to break the screen twisting it around like 20 times before you start the thing.

i think you use a usb cord and upload the files on your computer then you take those files and put them on whatever platform want
Thanks for the review. Your phone was much better in video, audio and zoom. The camera had too much shake to be viewable and has artifacts on the bottom of the screen. My 20 year old Sony which looked very similar did a better job.
Try this with a tripod as it's not worth it as a handheld camera.
The GoPro with no zoom combined with your phone is a better combination. I could enjoy seeing the caves on your phone. It was nauseating watching on camcorder and fuzzy. The cheap plastic parts on this won't hold up so you will pay more in the long term.

Yes, sounds like phone is better but phone cost 10 times more . The artifacts on the bottom of the screen is probably from an app I used to edit the video as it compress that way... could not fix it . I am still learning all this editing with new app and the video was 100% edited on the phone so phone also replace computer.. make it win win :) . I think gopro 9 is great! battery life almost 2 times longer then in gopro 8 . I have not even went through setting on it.. but I am sure there are a lot of to learn to make it better ..
@@askdad Most people have a smart phone, but not all are capable of zooming while videoing. The 4k really isn't watchable unless you use a gimbal or tripod when filming.

well, 4k is for quality video but not stands for stability and as I stated I post in 1080 . I guess this is not best video but at least people will see how it works.. also, I think this camera has stability control I do not think It was activated.. may be that would help.. again, I am just learning may be if I keep this camera will make it better to show what it capable to do.. will see ;) . The s21 ultra much better for sure no questions asked

@@askdad for use on a tripod, its a decent camera for a starter camera. I could go out and buy a 3,000 dollar camera if I wanted to, but what if creating content wasn't my thing, then I'd be stuck with a 3,000 dollar camera, with not much use for it.

In the SD card slot next to the battery it fits in only one way, like sex...it only goes in one way...

No, i couldnt find a way to turn it off, turns out its just built in and theres no way to turn it off. Apparently maufactures make alot of theses cheap offbrand cameras and sell them. Most of them malfuntion quickly and are faulty. the intense beeping was already anoying but then it completely malfunctiioned.. I just left it on the charger. (no one was around and no one touched it while it was on the charger, i was the only one in the room) and i checked on it after about an hour and the screen waas flashing and the hihg pitched beeping was happeneing every 2 seconds even tho i wasnt pressing a button and the camera screen was blank even tho the cover wasnt on. Apparenlty this happens to alot of pple. I eneded up returning it on amazon and getting a refund. Please consider canceling your order or smthing and save up for a nice camera that will actually last you. These cheap '4k' cameras are never worth it.

Funny thing....I was looking for a camera and I found "something else"...as crazy as it sounds, check your video at 10:23 seconds. You will see something flying by really fast in a split of that 23 seconds passed 10min... I just gonna put out there... It does not look like a bird to me.....

This camera is absolute garbage. This is the same camera HSN is selling under the "Polaroid" name for $130. Same camera, batteries, everything. You could spend the same amount on a used iPhone SE 2020 and get true 4k at 60 FPS.

This video goes through the list, rejects this one, recommends some not too expensive Pannys but also mentions the Sony HDR-CX675 which has audio in, and physical stabilisation and can be had for about 300 usd at least in Japan.

Guys. Please stop this inanity. This camera goes for ~US$190. For a lot less money you could get a cheap secondhand phone with far better recording. This camera isn't cheap, and definitely not a "great starter camera for kids". There are great smartphone apps that give you equivalent features of a camera. While I don't support Huawei brand, but their phones that come with 3x optical zoom can actually record the moon. It records decently in 4K. And that phone cost less than this camera.
