  • The BYD Atto 3 now comes with a smaller 100kw variant. But is there any difference in the level of equipment equipped with the smaller variant?

    You can also adjust the air conditioning by simply saying "BYD, I'm hot" or "BYD, I'm cold". Or you can ask for a specific temperature.

      Until the voice activated system becomes dysfunctional. Chinese quality isn't much to rave about. Everything I have bought from China, such as solar inverters, transfer control switches, solar panels, juke boxes, ceiling fans, all eventually turns to crab. BYD has limited availability of parts and poor dealer service.

    Purely personal comment, however, for much of Australia, the 0-100 kph is a little too relaxed.
    Also, I wonder if the next generation of EV's will simply allow much faster manual controls of features such as airconditiong, various modes? Having to dive into sub menus is just very time consuming, the more so, when many vehicles simply revert to factory default when turned off.

      One pedal drive is over rated and useless. Why break as soon as you take your foot of the pedal ?! Do you drive like this in a petrol car, why do that in an eletric car? BYD's auto regen program is more logical. It only applys auto regen when in traffic and the car infront of you slows down. If there is no traffic it coasts. This is way more energy efficient. Also when your driving on a race track... you want to take a fast corner without acceration, one pedal drive automatically breaks for you ?! WTF it takes away your entire momentum and distrubs your driving flow, because you have to focus on compensating the stupid one pedal drive breaking by accerating again ....

      @@ricosunit’s not if you have experienced one pedal in a Tesla. It’s doesn’t stop immediately but comes to a gradual stop. The reason it’s works for me is because as a physically challenged person it works for me because I can’t switch my foot to the brake quick enough. So I have to judge and release the accelerator pedal in time for the car to come to a gradual stop within a safe distance. Hope that clarifies why I am always in search for one pedal drive cars.

    • @ricosun
      @ricosun 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Wheelietraveler I have driven a Tesla. With one pedal drive in Std regen mode, you have to gently release the accelerator, otherwise it will apply full regen break until it stops. Yes one pedal drive is useful for people that cannot use the break fast enough. With BYD's system it allows your to set a speed limit using the steering wheel and it will accelerate and decelerate for you without even touching the breaks or accelerator, it will use the car in front as reference. However if you are the only car on the street. you do need to break because BYD allows your coast unless you tell it to break. But I really hope you drive carefully on the road, because if you cannot apply the break quick enough in an emergency situation is dangerous for you and as well as others.
