Nobody else even comes close to the sea snake. Tywin Lannister would most likely be the closest thing yet conducted his business in a different manner. The sea snake being a much more honorable man. They both built their respective houses up to prominence.
The sad thing the House Velaryon never rises against Baratheon or fought for Danny. Plus it would of been interesting to see the castle and driftmark city’s
I mean they were much weakened by the tone of the King Robert. And Aurane Waters is widely believed to be a Velaryon, and basically just made off with the royal fleet, betraying the Lannister’s and concurred the step stones, just as Corlys did. They are def setting him up for something, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he sides with Dany, with Velaryon and Targ coming back together
And then we have house Celtigar on the other hand, another Valyrian house, ignored by the Targaryens (as far as we know) in terms of marriages and titles. They're just sitting on their little island crying with their gold and their lust for Crackclaw Point.
The Bar Emmons as well too, I believe. But yeah, can you blame the Targs? The Celtigars don’t do too much, they are just kinda there. I love the illustration of Rhaenyra and "the Blacks" looking over the Painted Table, but it's irritating that Rhaenys is portrayed as silver-haired, when she has the hair of her Baratheon mother (unless, like Corlys, her hair is white with age, which is understandable), but what's even more irritating is that Rhaenyra's sons are all light-haired here, too. They are - all three - described as being brown of hair and brown of eyes, with the first even having a "pug nose" (insinuating that they take after the Strongs, and not after Laenor, who looks distinctly Valyrian). Well both Blood and Fire and ASOIAF plus Dunk and Egg have given us a lot. Instead of developing all these shows...including Night Fliers etc George could have 1. Finish the GoT series 2 Finish Dunk and Egg or 3 Finish Fire and Blood...instead we have one completed TV series that pissed a lot of folks off because they expected the Show Runners to “finish” George’s story (when HE can’t even finish one fing book in almost 10 years). Fast forward to a prequel for which we won’t get the next book for at least 30+ years.... wtf? I read about the Targs enough. Valyria and the Doom would make a more exciting prequel. I’ve seen enough dracarys! Although I must say The Bells was awesome.....burn then all!
If Corlys looks anything like the guy in the thumbnail....Zzzaddy.
They have to nail the casting of Corlyss and Damon
:(
@енџи I disagree. So far, so good
Lmao Girlllll I’m watching this September 2022 and my jaw is on the floor lmao. I love it. Thanks for the content mama
Why didnt Jaehaerys marry Rhaenys to Viserys they were about the same age anyway
RHAENYS and CORLYS should have had many more children. They would have had dragon-egg hatcher daughters
Such a shame they removed House Velaryon from the show.
house gray area (i’m- AHAHA) love it
"Literally zaddy" lol
I’m 100% more for his adventures than his politics, but a great character either way
Gray Area!
Flooded Dank And Damp.....Describes Me!💪🏽
The Marco Polo/ Cosimo Medici of Westeros.
Am I missing something? Are the people I'm discussing *supposed* to be those characters, or are they other people entirely?
Ai yi yi!
You aren't missing anything, the illustration is inaccurate
Yea...about that....;)
Love ya!
@27:00 it's not a great. It's a noble house there is difference
