You are going to want to buy some thermal paste for the CPU, because If you don't it will overheat nearly instantly, this can cause damage to the CPU itself if left running at extremely high temperatures. Steps ------ 1. Buy a small tube of of thermal paste 2. Take off your CPU cooler 3. open the paste 4. Squeeze out a pea sized dot on top the middle of the CPU 5. Put your CPU cooler back on and secure it
First thing, is a good motherboard but don't do anymore in the carpet, that sometimes components hasn't got his electric-static protection and can create a shortcut. Second thing, nice follower from HOME. Pyxis my favourite song
Hey I got that exact same usb Wi-Fi card, it doesn’t support Bluetooth for controllers so I shot it to my buddy for I build I did for him. GJ on the build btw. Hope your pops enjoys his new build!

That's a good question, the CPU Air Cooler doesn't seem to have any pre-applied paste, this will mean the PC has worse cooling than it can get, though at 400$ you wouldn't game a bunch on it, it's still a risk.
My actual pc are from this era, are Athlon ii x4 640, 8gb ram ddr3 1333mhz, Seasonic 520w font, Asrock n68c-m, GT 220 1gb ddr3, and a samsung 160gb sata hard disk, nice video man!
I click and this video on the first thing I see is the motherboard on carpet💀 Little tip don’t build on carpet and use thermal compound/paste on the cpu.
Depending on how your dad is with tech and what he needs to do a distro of linux could be a good suit for this pc rather than windows which may slow it down significantly.
Steam has proton (tbh idk what diablo is i only heard of it) but proton is a compatibility layer and might let you run it on linux if diablo is on steam if its not you can also try wine however i get not wanting to use linux
As a PC Enthusiast, simple PC like these are still fun to assemble.
Except Cable Management, still my weakness. lol
Yeah, this case has no room for cable management

One of these days I will finally buy a phone stand, but for now this is my life
Instructions were unclear built a Dad for my PC instead.

First thing, I don't have any other place to build sadly. Second thing HOME is my favorite music artist, my favorite song has to be Sunshower.
HOME favourito too >.
never build a PC on carpet either

Yeah, he likes it so far, once I get my new graphics card I will give him my old one so he can actually start playing some games
@@joseph58tech oh dude I seen on Amazon some 2070s for $280 by evga and a 360 for $450! Should prolly check it out.

I bet you damage the pins when you picked the CPU up like that
Where is the thermal paste

Don't worry it's on there
thermal paste broo dont forget
Don't worry bro I got it
Nice! Is this your first PC build? I'd love to know.

Have you not seen the LTT video? Also I quite literally don't have any place to build it
I click and this video on the first thing I see is the motherboard on carpet💀
Little tip don’t build on carpet and use thermal compound/paste on the cpu.
1. I don't have any other space to build on 2. I did put thermal paste on, just didn't record it
at least you could give him an intel core i5 4690 but you give him an amd phenom 😂, i know the budget is 400 $ i was just joking
It's a Phenom II, Athlons are crap
@@joseph58tech let me correct it
Thanks, also I would have used an Intel cpu but I already had the phenom so I figured it would be fine
@@joseph58tech that's understandable

You can't run Diablo on any Linux distro, so no Linux

no thermal paste on the cpu
Yes there is
Hey I got an idea which might help your videos, try use a stand to hold your camera. Then it will be easier to make the pc while you record.
Dude I've ALWAYS wanted a stand, I hate having to hold my phone because I only have 1 hand available and I can never record stuff like this properly
I have an idea
Just get any object the lean it on that and put it at a good angle
That should work
U deserve more subs
This pc is really old how come?
Because it's a $400 PC
