Cartel puts him thru a wood chipper
it has to wait till nothing more can be recovered
Those people deserve to get their money taken if they invest in people based on pictures. lol
He bought an ad in Forbes and it worked.
Have you seen the American version? His name is Logan Paul.
Hi *isaak recover* To all you guys (male and female) that work so hard, putting a stop to the scams you can stop. I Thank each and every one of you. Please keep up the great work and when I'm able to help you out financially, I most definitely will. In the meantime, keep the excellent help coming. In my mind, you're the best channel on TH-cam by far. Many thanks from a true dedicated fan in the UK. Stay safe all. Thanks. *isaak* .
anyone who gave this kid money deserved to lose their money.
Good reporting CBC.
I think that the people who put their money on this guy, deserve the outcome of their own greed.
Why would you give your money to an Starbucks barista? 😂
This is too common in the west today. A criminal ruin people's lives. They apologize and play the victim then everything is okay again... if we forget about the original victims.
He is thief and a criminal he should be in jail, what kind of a country leaving such criminal animal free.
The investers were greedy. I blame them just as much. Because they heard 10-20% returns. When will these people learn there's no get rich quick. If you want to throw your money away then send it to me.
Funny how a lot of these self described crypto kings always turn out to be scammers.
How on earth is it possible for the court not to order a travel ban? I mean most of the gem must ve been stashed aboard.
20% every two weeks?! Sorry but some people deserve to be scammed if they can buy into something ridiculous like that.
this is Why we should stick with cash..and nothing digital
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks and made about $246k,but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million
Thanks for continuing updates I'd rather trade the stock market as it's more profitable. I make an average of $42,500 per week even though I barely trade myself.
He was smart about it , he stashed lots of cash during this situation and now he is slowly pulling the cash out as he needs it .
I truly don’t understand how an adult in his or her own mind would trust a young kid with millions of dollars to double their money. I don’t have much but even when I invest, I do it through different streams…when a deal is too good….remember what to do in future…there is no get rich quick, not even a chance.
Simple answer,,it’s greed n scammers pound on that….so don’t be greedy n u will be fine….😂😂
@@david888a If only that were true.
Yes there is a way committing fraud. He just did. And he is happy in London been rich 😂
This kind of stories keep coming out, but the consequences are minimal, which encourage more people to do it. It seems to easy to steal money this way and don’t go to jail and even if yo do when you go out you have Netflix paying millions to tell your story. I bet this trend will continue
If you give your money to a 24 year old with no background in asset management or finance , then you deserve to lose it all
They should have taken some investment courses and learned how to invest by themselves.
This is Bull. If money is being spent it can be traced. Talking crap about it hard to see who is behind the wallet. Crypto can’t be spent from a wallet and have to be converted into cash via some type of an exchange
if people or companies do this they should be forced to give everything they owe back either by selling assets, jail or by doing community service to the equivalence of the sum owed. I know this is basically slave labour but it what other options are there when they can just declare bankruptcy and start again.
Canadian Law is a joke
You’re supposed to keep your own money in crypto. 3rd party risk defeats the purpose of real crypto. When will people learn ? Not your private keys not your money.
I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time . I was able to build a business from my returns 💚
As a beginner what do I need to do? How can I invest, on which platform? If you know any please share.
Trading success always depends on applying the right trade signals to your trade
Crypto is a scam Everyone wants easy money.
It’s a scam when you think about crypto as easy money maker, while having no clue how it works (literally majority of people that got invested into crypto).
Nobody wants to work anymore.
It's the same thing with casinos and lotteries. Everybody wants to get rich overnight.
Threaten to put him behind bars for 20 years if the money is not returned, he will surrender the funds even before going to prison.
Awww Poor Rich People i really don't feel bad for them.
They need to start a GoFundMe page.
Well done the presenter is excellent. Even for the cbc
Excellent propaga...err...I mean "news" piece, CBC. I remember crypto scammers defrauding investors going all the way back to Bernie Madoff and Kenneth Lay so if we just ban crypto then there will definitely super-de-dooper be no more scams anymore! In fact if we push a government controlled cryptocurrency, let's call it a see bee dee see for example, then government bureaucrats can not only stop all the scamzers but also seize money from ANYONE without having to waste tax dollars on silly things like "due process" and "warrants". Not only that but they can then also put quotas on things like meat and sugar to stop all those evil carbon-emitters who don't eat their proper share of bug paste for the sake of their Goddess Gaia...err...I mean "mother earth" 😅
The funniest part is having 'private equity' in your company name when you trade crypto
He steals people's money and it's "civil' law? Jail him!
Lesson is: wonna become rich? Better path is being a fraudster! You'll never going to pay your victims in full and can easily hide the proceedings and jail time is often not the case.
BC is using the unexplained income laws, perhaps time for Ontario to step up as well. These laws are very effective in places such as Netherlands.
Nope. Gov should mind their on business and people should stop being children and grow up and use some sense
Giving money to any guaranteed thing is 100% scam. Foolishness of others shouldn't be the burden of the whole.society by giving government more power and control of our lives.
The kid is a con artist , he suckered in greedy people hoping to get rich quick . He got caught and some of his " investors " are not happy . TBH I have no sympathy for him or any of his debtors . It just underscores the old saying that if it sounds to good to be true , it probably isn't .
Sorry , I have no sympathy for those investors...
I do suspect that greed has created this situation. Greedy investors.
The investors were greedy expecting those types of returns. Does this make what the fraud did right? Of course not! But nobody wants to take accountability.
How people still invest in monopoly money is beyond me.
Greed and gullibility. Those two things will never be in short supply.
Because it’s Canada that’s why!
You would be jailed for taking a chocolate bar from a store.
PUT this fool in jail!
In the US fraud is considered a Criminal not civil case.
Life is hard for these multimillionaires :(
Who'd give a 20 year old kid millions? In crypto? Smart as rocks.
I like how all the investors chose to willingly give this child who got lucky their money and are now blaming the child for losing said money. Like this is 100% on the "investors" that did 0 research and threw money at a trend. They should not be compensated in any way, it was a bad investment and you lost, if it happened with anything other then crypto it would just be a loss
Partially true. That should be his argument, but the problem is he only invested 1%. If he had actually invested and lost the money, that argument would work.
I like how you didnt watch any of this video but commented anyway
@@Louis-ep8ob I did, but unlike you I have the ability to see through the CBCs blatant bullshit
@@CountryKyle007 doesn't matter, unless it's started clearly in writing he's done nothing wrong, again, the fault of the investors for not having a proper written agreement in place starting that he needed to invest all the money
40m between 150 people is 250k each, these are not regular poor people and still fell for it
They thought the kid was a financial genius.
Dude would make a perfect example for the show American Greed.... oh but this is Canada where claiming you're a crypto king and spending millions of your investors money is not rewarded with 30 years of hard prison time
So u mean when wall street purposely crashed the economy in 2008, and no one went to jail- that was American justice to u?
American Greed is a TV show. They only show u cases of justice as propaganda.
canada is part of america.. smart person
Not a king of anything, a theift of everything from everyone!
Ontario’s *‘Clepto King’* owes investors millions.
You keep saying it wrong……it’s klepto currency!
This crypto king is going to be in the crypt soon.
Why y'all blame the scammer? Why not the people who willingly gave this man money. Bro the investors were greedy
In most crimes that get committed, the victim was just as much to blame as the perpetrator.
I'm just surprised he's still alive. Those sucker investors will never get more than a few cents back on the dollar.
Those investors did not deserve to be ripped off, anymore than a gambling addict does. For him to be able to flaunt it in their faces is infuriating.
It’s not a matter of whether they deserve it or not. They took a big risk on a get rich quick scheme and lost it all. I can’t feel bad for them.
@@Clarkweber1815 That's victim blaming.
@@machevellian79 they're not victims, they were simply greedy, and got scammed. too bad so sad. moving right along...
@@techcafe0 Didnt watch the video eh? The little mouthpiece didnt even invest the money, that's fraud, try to pay attention.
@@machevellian79 I did watch the entire video. The 'crypto-investors' got greedy and they lost. boohoo. it's a civil matter, and the government has no reason to get involved. again, we should feel no sympathy for people who allow their greed to overrule common sense and good judgement.
When you trust a kid...your deserve to be ripped off
I don’t blame him ,people who invested in cristo are responsible for their loss, greedy is the rule of all evils, given your money to strangers to invest server you right don’t come crying ,every time something like this happen people don’t learn Christo is a big scam
