So the Vortex Generators are staggered because amazingly durafly incorporated some washout into the wing. This means the angle of attack is differed at the outer part of the wing, so the VGs are set back to optimise their effect over the ailerons. Clever!
What are those 2 white bits for by your hand at 10:50? Just finished putting together my plane and still have those bits and a load of screws left haha!
Thats Odd that the VG,s angle aft outward toward the wing tips? Cause on real scale planes they are 2 to 3 percent closer to the leading edge on the outter part of the wing cuz you dont want the wing tips stalling before the inner portion of the wing...doesnt make sense they way those are positioned...
What is a vg? Those little pieces of none sense on top of the wing? Slow down the plane? It has flaps. Is that a must to glue? Hmmm I'm gonna buy this plane soon.
I recently began flying this exact Tundra V2 model...my problem is the motor sometimes quits after appox. 4 min of flight time...I am using new 3S 2200mah 60C LiPo's and they are still fine after landing ( appox. 38% left ) .......I notice the ESC becomes very hot and it must be shutting down the motor ...I am using all the stock parts that came with it......the big carbon fiber prop , stock motor and stock 40amp ESC from Hobbyking ..what am I doing wrong as it's frustrating having to land dead stick so many times ?...thanks
Vortex Generators, little fins attached to the upper side of the wing, they break up the smooth local air flow over the wing and cause less static air friction to help with better aerodynamic control.

Nice video. If a rudder servo goes bad - can you get to the servo easily to replace it?
great clip! one question: no instruction on mounting esc. i am assembling my plane right now. seems like it would stick to the side?
Yes just use the velcro already applied to the ESC to mount to the side of the fuselage.
Awesome
Good job John!

What are the little washers for that were in the bag with the prop for.
Donation washers for spare parts department..(level 5)
Mine did not come with the battery tray and velcro pre-installed. Not sure why, in every unboxing video I've seen it was already in situ...

What material is the fuselage? foam for like a plastic?

John...really good video. thank you. What type of battery connector comes stock with the plane ie...xt60, IC3 etc?
Let me check
@@HobbyKingOfficial still looking ? 😂
Where can you buy the "cg" stickers?
get a red sticker and use a hole punch to make handful of them
😂
dislike the hard epo foam wheels, prefer eva foam wheels
I Gas buy it because i crashed the v1
Wtf guys you sent me the version 1 ?!
it's their way of getting rid of old stock, send them an email and they'll probably send you a v2
what are vee gees?
