Very entertaining flight! The Tundra Rocks! It has everything a Bush Plane should have ;-) How far away is Christmas? It's on my list ;-) See you in the Air!
I really enjoy your videos. Excellent camera work and piloting skills. I do wish you had an external microphone to make it easier to hear your comments during the flights. Just ordered my Tundra V2.
I did recently get a rode mic setup, but Im undecided on using it for flight vids or not though, as you cant hear anything but the the person talking. Thoughts?
@@JohnVHRC I'm not sure what hardware setup you would use, but I would enjoy hearing your remarks on the flight characteristics of the plane you are reviewing.
John, got any mustard for that HotDog?lol😀 Fun watching you fly. Appeared that there was some stiff wind out there. The plane is a contender in the list for a bush plane. AirHammer out!!
I'm surprised Durafly have brought out the V2 with the polystyrene wheels again. On the first iteration the wheels eventually switch to a nice squidgy foam which certainly helps with my 'SToL' crash landings. Loved your knife edge flying, a skill I have yet to acquire. ;-D
@@JohnVHRC hopefully I can figure out how to set it up...from what I have read , it only gets a little tricky if adding both retracts and flaps...but with flaps only I think I just put them on channel 6 and leave the channel 5 pins open....thanks
Great flying and brilliant camera work
Love my V1 and I did change the motor and ESC so have the reversible 40 Amp one now. What a Beast!!! Nice Update, John!
I have sweet video of that in action 👊🏻
Thanks Bill!
Reversing is a cool feature!!! Looks like a cool plane!!!!
Wow, that was cool. Great job and thank you John.
Thanks bro!
Great video bud and great flying job too. Love that plane.....I really miss my Grand Tundra. Gotta get me another one.
I want a GT too!
Hi John, I had a hotdog during I watched the video. Awesome! The Tundra will be my next plane ... yeah 😊 Thx for sharing 👍

Sooo hard to decide, Im between this one and the Grand Tundra, money is not an issue, but space for flying it and transport is…
Good video btw
Thanks! Tough choice!
started ic withh 2200s the allronder were $100 each at the time step up from nicads

Thanks! These wheels are much lighter Ive heard, so Im happy with that.
love the plane, hate the hard foam wheels
as a beginner , would this model make a good trainer because of it's slow flying capabilities?....thanks
I think so, its very stable and can be flown slow. Could always add a safe receiver if you wanted gyros
@@JohnVHRC yes..I was thinking of adding the Lemon Plus Rx with stab... ...thanks for your reply.....
@@garyvale8347 They are awesome, I put one in every EDF jet I have

I just got one of these, can't wait to fly. Do you prefer the vortex generators? And how do you program radio for reverse esc?
Manual says how, but you use the gear switch, or I did.
@@JohnVHRC I used the panic button on my Spektrum for reverse
How long the runtime?
Depends on your flying style, if you just fly around at half throttle, probably 10 min +
I fly with a 2700 battery and can definitely get 10 minutes. Not much extra weight over a 2200 battery
Give me a LIKE for reverse action!
Would this be too hard to fly for a beginner?
I wouldn’t buy it as a trainer. But a second plane for sure.
JohnVHRC I currently have and fly a small 780mm glider. Would it be ok for me I’m not a complete beginner
What you can reverse it?? Imagine dong that on landing ????
It comes with a reversing esc!
very nice model, too bad that the price has risen so much
Everything cost more :(
