The Tundra has firmly established itself in the RC community and has now become the go to model for most RC pilots. From intermediate pilots to the more experienced flier this plane will do it all. The Tundra is an extremely versatile plane that is great fun to fly and is highly entertaining for all pilots with its excellent aerobatic potential, STOL flying ability and all round toughness.
The Tundra V2 has had further improvements over the upgraded original version. Vortex generators have now been added to the leading edge of the wing to increase the stability at slow speeds. The undercarriage is now more secure and easier to install thanks to machine screws and brass inserts, the plastic landing gear cross brace mount is now made of metal for improved durability. Also included is a newly designed battery tray. The V2 still retains the improved wing connectors, wing mount, upgraded motor and Aerostar 40 amp ESC with reverse.
Whether it is flying from rough fields, water, snow or sand, the Tundra takes it all on with ease. The Tundra has a wide flight envelope making it ideal for FPV flying, aerobatics, glider towing, candy dropping or just good old-fashioned super STOL slow flying,
The tough EPO foam construction is beautifully finished and the Tundra design has a purposeful rugged look. Its lightweight design coupled with a powerful brushless set-up instantly gives you a feeling of confidence on the sticks as quickly as it puts a smile on your face.
This rugged and reliable plane can also get into those tight and hard to land places with its huge flaps, vortex generators and extreme STOL performance. The large main wheels make it easy to land just about anywhere. Swap out the wheels for the supplied floats and you'll be flying from lakes, streams and other waterways.
A quick change to the included FPV canopy will give you more extreme fun flying. More excitement can be found utilizing the built-in tow fitting for towing your friend’s gliders to the best thermals.

I’ve been riding motocross bikes almost my entire life, I found this hobby a 2 years ago and my bikes are collecting dust lol. Goes to show how this hobby will pull you in, I love it. 12 aircraft in my hanger now and counting. Craziness, and couldn’t be happier.

Go man go, I have also been riding and fly since the late 70s love them both.I would also recommend some helicopter time also.
Still riding and racing, since 1978. RC helos & airplanes since 2008. Even designing them, too! After I get done watching Pilot Robert in this video, my son and I are headed to the local motocross track!

We have lock down here in the USA also. However, I went out flying yesterday. Can you folks in the UK head to a soccer field and fly if you are by yourself? It is OK for us to do that here (so far anyway).
Your recovery is great. The fact that youre flying better now post 2nd surgery than first. Keep practicing your fingering and soon you'll be unstoppable.

I tried to buy the green V1 after watching your first video on the Tundra, but it was out of stock for so long, I decided to wait. Shortly after the V1 came back into stock, the V2 came out with the softer wheels and different colors! So when I finally ordered the purple and gold one, they sold out again! I may buy another ARF version to keep in case of emergency! Stay safe and healthy guys! Truly one of the best STOL planes on the market!

Really great performance of your hand with its fingers. Big salute to the sugery specialist and his skills cause that recovery and progress after second surgery was really fast even if you might think it had been far too long.

I just had to click, much more to it than my Volantex Trainstar Ascent 747-8!! Still yet to put it together, waiting for all my snow to melt. In 4 days, I have lost over 3’ of snow and now getting axntious to build and learn how to fly the bigger planes. Been learning with my F949 Cessna, it takes a beating and still flies!!

Good to see you getting back to your old self again Pilot Robert, it’s a great plane and I may buy this one but I fancy the Mule. At least you’re able to get out and fly and not in a lockdown like here in the UK.
My brother tried to go out and fly last week with some friends, while maintaining the distance guidelines but was told to break up by a Police officer patrolling on an off road bike. They chatted for a while about the hobby before disbanding. So for the moment it’s simulator flying only.

Yes, I've been wondering about the Mule but it seemed heavy and fast, but this one seems to fly just as fast. Its going to have to float in gently on my field, so I think I'm better off with my Phoenix 2400 which can be set up with crow brakes to slow the landing. Pity, I like STOL landings, but the only Ugly Stiks that I use have brittle undercarriages.
