Justin is an amazing performer and has a great voice... Chris doesn't care about performing and has a phenomenal voice... together it's perfection in my humble opinion! I never get tired of this clip and I absolutely love how you are picking up on all the subtle things a lot of us have noticed ... You probably had recommendations for the two of them and the song 'Say Something' that was said to be filmed in one take.... it's amazing!

@DeDoeWorldLive little known fact… Chris and Justin are next door neighbors in north Tennessee. They’re very good friends and often show up at each other’s concerts and sing a couple of songs. They have another on of Justin’s they recorded together. The official video is best. It’s basically a live performance because they recorded it in 1 take. “Say Something” is song. (came from an interview Chris did years ago) .. before Chris came to the front of 🎤 (he is a very accomplished writer before his singing career) and became popular .. Justin's wife ... set up a bay party for Justin and Chris was the gift .. lol seriously .. she gave Chris private performance to Justin ad a bday gift .. well they hit it off and have been amazing friends since then . Chris jokes about it at the times when he is asked about Justin. . He always comments he was the gift to Justin ..... but if you want to check out some Old Chris songs before he became "famous" look up a song called "fooled me again" the vocals are chefs 💋 !!!!

There’s a cover of “Man’s World” by Stapleton, recorded by a dude in the audience, it was a one time thing. He was in the audience and the band called him up for one song, that was the song, it’s excellent, you should react to it.
There is also a one time Stapleton cover of “Nothing Compares to You” by Prince, I believe it was the day Prince died and Stapleton was in concert and sang it in tribute. Also, you will likely enjoy reacting to Stapleton “Nothing Compares to You”

What I love about this is layered but if you know the truth of how this performance happened it's amazing! Timberlake being a fan of his and yes I know the B day performance story agreed to do this, maybe even asked to do it! Took this from one song to a two song performance! Chris still at this point could have been a one hit wonder! The reality is the music industry was rejecting him! We all seem his other performances! Dude should have been a star 10 yrs prior....but they went pop in country...NY and LA were controlling and still are the industry.. so here's a sexy guy with a manufactured voice!
Justin performed w him, sang live..allowed Chris to do Chris and even used Chris's talent to elevate his song! He didn't hide from it..he encouraged it! Justin can certainly sing and even more perform and was secure in that...knew it wasn't about our singing the other guy...just perform great together! I respect that emensley!

Back Story:
Jessica called Morgane and asked if Chris would consider playing Justin's Birthday Party. Morgane gave Chris his marching orders and they all ended up becoming huge friends.
In 2015 as New Vocalist of the Year the CMA didn't want to give Chris much time. Morgane called Jessica and a plot was hatched. They extorted the CMA into giving him more time using JT. Chris and JT were given their marching orders and the rest is history.
Chris and JT are great artists. Morgane and Jessica are a force of nature.
PS Their barbecues are legendary.
