@Justin Sane I think in general, depending on how much you ride, the batteries can last 3 or 4 years without losing much range, and otherwise you don’t have much in the way of maintenance aside from standard stuff like tires/brakes/etc. I probably don’t need to worry about a battery for a few years, but I’m trying to verify that all of the Segway Bluetooth functionality works properly with the Sur-Ron battery, since you have to unlock the full power/top speed through the app if it ever gets reset, although I assume it would all work.

Those look so fun! But I couldn't actually use one if I got it. It'd be reported or ticketed on bike trails, and not street legal on streets. To reach offroad areas I'd have to hit the highway, but it doesn't go fast or far enough to get to the destination... and I don't have a pickup truck or flatbed to haul it. Though a Kingsong S18, I could charge up and throw in my passenger seat, then drive somewhere, take it out and ride for hours. It's not the same experience, and I love bikes and would sell my gas bike if I could match it in electric, but this just wouldn't be feasible for me.

You guys in Denver? Looks like you were near the north side of the "bluffs"...
Which is better?
If you don't cut the limiter wirs you go 25 mph but get around 65 miles but once you cut the limiter that's half the length be because it's twice the power
That’s one blue sky 😯
What's the top speed of the Segway.
Awsome information!!
Please advise something like this but for tall people
Thanks for the video! I almost picked up a SurRon when they were first available a while back. I just don't have the space to store something like this in San Francisco. One of the main reasons I prefer power or hyper electric scooters. I ride with a bunch of folks on SuRons and other e-bikes. The Onyx RCR is probably something I would rather have for more urban riding. There is an Onyx shop in San Francisco so it makes it really convenient.
know it is late our time do you think you could do a colorado onewheel giveaway? And if so how can I enter
Great review 🤙🏻
Guys the Segway is the clear way to go!!
I love this ebike. Just wheels are small. I prefer only 29'
It’s about the size of an 85
I love the surrons, but there is a big catch. They aren't legal pretty much anywhere and either they are rare in your area and you draw attention to yourself riding an illegal ride or they are common in your area and you run the risk of the police/gov cracking down on them.
that's why you wear your full face helmet and just don't stop like I do 🤣
or if they ask say it's limited.
they've tried too stop me on me electric board... easy too just not stop they won't hit u
Removing the front fender makes it look more like a mountain bike = a little less heat
Where can I buy these e dirt bikes, if you can put a link under my comment I really would appreciate it thank.
Links are in the description of the video.
What suron you have..street or ofrroad version?
Hi do you have to register it or get license?
depends on where u live
Nice but you can also get in different colors outside Luna cycle dealer
please tell me there street legal ore one of them
Good vid Jimmy but how much are they??
Best buy has them for $3,999 right now.
Sur Ron is $3600
Man I’d get one just if they weren’t illegal in Europe :’( I’d have to register it as a moped & get insurance, which would mean no riding bike trails/parks. Nice informative video though Jimmy. 🤙🏽
They are perfectly legal in Europe. Why wouldn't you be able to ride trails when it's registered? Put a switch on the limiting wire and you can run 45kph on road and enjoy full power off road.
azerty ytreza they are completely illegal in the UK, unless they are registered and insured. You cannot ride bike trails with one unless it is private land & you have the land owner’s permission. I have read the laws on them & they are ridiculous tbh.
They're illegal on public roads and trails in the US too, but like seth said in the video their owners just try and fly under the radar.
@@caramelzappa Not here in TN.
