I shoot Easton axis 5mm 340 spine 430 grains at a 29 inch draw. They shoot great.

Just started watching the arrow build. Hopefully this spring/summer I can get in to find a new bow (Elite Terrain?) On the single bow challenge and us that shoot one bow, how is the best way or how are you handling different arrows (weights, sizes), bow poundages, for different events and sighting them in? Maybe a future video? With Africa, practice, TAC, 3D, hunting, etc… was thinking something like a 3 or 5 pin slider and marking slide positions for the different arrow weights vs sighting in each time, or does the yardage hold the same regardless?

The added weight is obviously for bone. With a perfect shot you can put anything through an animal. Crap happens, it's smart to be prepared

Not saying there's anything wrong with AAE products but you do not have to use their brand of glue and primer pin any primer pin will work

I hate the Heat vanes. They're heavier than blazers, with less steering ability. The angle is so shallow that the front half inch doesn't do much of anything, but it adds weight. They're stupid.
If you're wondering why I feel the need to comment, I'm doing a gauntlet of vane testing. Profile, stiffness, count, length, spin, etc etc etc. Heat vanes work, but no better than many other vanes but much heavier.
If you need a candy cane helical, you should probably tune your bow or adjust your form a bit, FYI

TH-cam "1nestly". Slow motion arrow flight with several vanes. Parachuting is practically non existent.
