Guys like you amaze me. I'm 76 and totally non-mechanical. All I wanted to do was tighten my chain after taking it apart for cleaning and I found your video. My God, Boy, you are something!!! I appreciate your skill and confidence. Thank you!!!
This is the best video I've seen this year. Reason being, I've owned the hatchet for about 3 weeks, and I love it. Being able to look inside of the tool makes me very happy. This tool has made my life on the farm, so much easier. I've never seen anything like it. I rate it 5 stars.
Amazed at your ability to keep track of screws and where they go. I saw some go rolling away when you bumped the table or dropped a piece. Me, I would have to catalog every one of them to the corresponding hole to ever get it back together again.
I appreciate the commentary. A lot of those components I’m not familiar with or what they do. Very happy to see this thing is well built. I’m a bit worried about water damage still but I guess if it happens it would just be a matter of replacing that circuit board.
Great video! I like the snap-ring pliers you use. You just saved me some time, as this is what I usually do with new tools. Only difference is that I often end up with extra screws when I'm done. WIN-WIN
Wow you really went all the way not many tear down this tools or yet this m12 tool so much they put into their product . Doesn’t seem like it will break but why they only gave 3yr warranty their other tools have greater time warranty maybe there’s a huge that will abuse or use it soo much on heavy use 🤭
The so called safety is the worst feature on the saw and i deleted it before my 1st battery was flat. Not a user friendly design at all. Otherwise a great little saw
I stopped watching this after I was afraid you were going to hurt yourself just opening it up. I would use it enjoy it and leave it in one piece. Then take it apart look at where and how much it has worn. Those teeth are called felling spikes .

I only have one arm. This thing is a dream. If I had it 20 years ago, I would have been unstoppable. P.S. Your warranty is null and void.😂
Thanks for this, was looking at this tool, and wanted to see the guts before I spent the money. Subscribed.

Great tear down, your video convinced me to purchase one, Milwaukee owes you!
All the critical parts are metal, I like that. Looks very well constructed for a long operational life.
Just bought this tool, got a terrific deal on it, but wow does Milwaukee know what they are doing. Their R&D department is definetly lit!

Very well made, I’ll actually buy this now
Purchased 2 months ago. Used yesterday first time. Stripped gears while cutting up a pallet.
It takes any of the Milwaukee 12 volt lithium rechargable batteries. The preferred choice is the 6 amp hour version.

Nice tear down and review! Liked it much better than AVE, with his weird R rated language.
Nerd.
