This is probably on top of the list of one of my next tools because when we do a lot of cleanouts and people are getting ready to sell the house a lot of people will ask to have some trees removed just to make the yard look bigger I have the Homelite chainsaw I found in the garbage but I'm usually using either one of my Milwaukee M18 Sawzall bite one problem with the Sawzall if you don't get a good handle well cut in a good spot the Sawzall was shake the tree to death but really like this awesome video take care bro
Great saw, loved the 2x4 samples. I would use this to thin and trim thick bush limbs. But at $179 sale price ($304 retail, but usually $250) with no battery, it's easier for me to use my Stihl MS 261.
Just bought one from Home Depot tonight for my wife. Bought her a battery powered pruning shears for Xmas, but that's just for 1.2 inch branches. Works well but have some wood larger than that and she will not start / use my chain saws. THIS IS A great INBETWEEN !!!!!
1:04 respect the saw. This is how I cut my thumb with this thing; holding a small branch with one hand and the saw with the other. Kickback from the saw knicked my thumb. Luckily I had let go of the trigger, so it just ripped a bunch of skin off, but it still bled a lot and could have been much worse.
Another TH-camr has compared the two with a regular wood blade in the m12 hackzall and the hatchet was significantly faster through a 4x6. I am curious to see if a pruning blade would change the result.
it's absolutely faster than a M18 Sawzall with a pruning blade. I've cut 1000 branches and small trees with a diablo pruning blade in one, not nearly as fast as this video shows the hatchet. Anything over 2 inches takes a bit of time with a pruning blade.
@@mrniusi11 idk even if a sawzall is even a little slower its a tool that can do multiple things, wood, metal, stone, scraping, small concrete vibrator, whereas the mini chainsaw can cut wood and only small limbs at that. Id have to see a pretty significant speed increase to justify buying something like that. But everyone has different needs out there 👍
I have a hacksaw, chainsaw, sawzall. You think its worth the $179 or you think the price might get better??? Be perfect to take on the Atv or Side x Side to clear brush from trails.
I don't have many trees but for my fire pit wood this would be awesome. I am really invested in the m12 line so this is another plus to pick this up. Very nice review. No Discord ads 🙁. "MOIST"
I was showing this to my father and when I was a kid and we lived in Colorado a lot of the jobs we're old farm houses that they would turn into a project so basically it was a few hundred of the same house have some unbelievable stories things my father found in the Barnes but he used to use the chainsaw because you needed a generator but the cut rafters I would like to see how this does cutting rafters
Should I get this or a full-size chainsaw? I'm really only gonna be using it to trim the trees around my home (not sure what other uses I'll need a chainsaw for, I have some other M12 tools but I'll also be buying some Makita 18v tools for yard work).
There is another vid that shows a guy taking his 10" pruning bar off his pole saw and putting it on the M12. Cut 8" wood with it. Wasnt a speed demon on it but cut it none the less.
Yo TRZ!! That darned sasquatch!! Every time i see him, he's after my beef jerky! I don't get it. 🤔 Well, can't blame him. Lol. I'm curious, when cutting vertically, was the hand positioning awkward for you at all? Thanks for the review and God bless!😁👍 P.S. send the twin out there with some marshmallows sometime! 🤣 or maybe the gnome.
A Silky Zubat 330 handsaw can cut faster than that. The handsaw would last non-professionals several years and cust just fine. The only mechanical parts on a handsaw is the person using the saw.
This thing is gonna be another asset in my deer hunt prep gear
Hey, just wanted to thank you for your honest and informative reviews. They are incredibly helpful.
Thank you so much for the awesome comment tink!
Looks like i'll be heading to home depot for one of these bad boys!!!

Thanks bro I've been waiting for a reviews on this. can hardly wait to see how it performs and what you have to say about it
Its definitely awesome Jason!!!!
@@ToolReviewZone I will end up getting one, but right now the price point on it's too high for me. I'm going to have to wait for a deal.
Ill keep my eye out brother 👊

Slice n Dice ! If you aint croc'in then you aint rockin ! Nice review, that samsquantch man!
Hahahaha, thanks Don!!!
If your up in a tree wearing your harness this is a must have.
Every video I watch of this hatchet pushes me closer to buying one. LOL
Great review, where do u purchase replacement chains
I can cut 12" logs with mine. If you take your time, this thing is a dream
You've gotta let me try that thing out!!
So u think its faster than a cordless sawzall or the 12v hacksaws with a pruning blade? I think that could be a good video
Sounds like a good idea brk. I may need to try it

Do this vs the sawzall for pruning
I want it but I can decide if its worth it since I already have the super sawzall

I think I put the discord add in? 🤔 MOIST!!!
@@ToolReviewZone I probably just missed it. I'll watch again. I like the hatchet though
Good video Clint @ToolReviewZone

I bet it would probably do really good at that Joseph 👊

just this should be fine. It's a little expensive tho but a really nimble saw.
Where can I get the chains for this and what's the code for chain ?
Cool 👍👍👍👌👌👌✌✌✌
I wish they had a blade guard like the Sthil version....
Must be nice , I’ve been waiting to for it to come out so I can go buy it
Tried it today, and even with a 5Ah battery, it weighs nothing. Big question is, do I buy it now or wait for the M18 next month?🤔
Was that the Tool Bear chasing you?
Thank damn Yeti TX lol
How do you take the battery off?
Can you use a longer bar like 12 inches?
Hmmm, not really sure, but it may be possible 🤔

I need a 5.5 inch oak wood test on a half charghed battery to se how good it actually is.
Omg you got the hatchet me need one for testing also 👌🤛👍 lol Clint @ToolReviewZone
Hacksaw already does this and more though 👀🤔
This works better for that. I have both
Pore Clint that was A Massive Gorilla run Brother Runnnnnnn @ToolReviewZone
gotta get one to AvE... this outta be a great BOLTR
Definitely AvE is the MAN!
@@natebice7375 ava will not run a test will dissect a thing using truck driver language lmfao
Thomas Carroll I know bro, I’ve been watching him for many years
Something is wrong with me. I saw this too and all I could think about was that one scene in Scarface
Say hello to my little friend!
I like this video! Hong Kong buy milwaukee is expensive and I like going to Amazon buy!

That's real nasss like!!! Smeesh that like button. 👀👉🏽 👍🏽
Thabks for the SMEEESH Jason!
I'd like to see a comparison and show down between the Milwaukee, Bosch, and Stihl versions.
I like videos that are moist & smooth.
Tia should be a “how to lose fingers and hurt yourself” video
The safety po-po in da house
The ripN and the tearN
Me like sweet video bruh
The chain look too big for it size
I still prefer Stihl MS120c with slimmer chains.
Cool tool, but the hackzall works great too. Uses common blades and one hand operated. I'll pass on this one.
Dam way over price man it should be under 79 dollars.
That thing beastly I got to think about a line to convince my wife i need it ☺️ i sent you a dm on Instagram
Hahaha nice
I don’t want this cause I would not give it the respect it deserves. It could rip a finger of without any reservation.

Could of left our big foot.
what are your pronouns?
Moist
Lol a sawzal on steroids
Honestly I don’t get why someone would waste their money on this when they could get a sawzall and potentially do the exact same thing but more
Its just a lot lighter and more compact. Small battery and charges quickly. Just my 2 cents though
Not to mention 1 handed smooth operation vs a heavy long sawzall with blades that push and pull. Definitely gonna buy one.😎👍
its about the cutting speed the chainsaw has. If your work deals with just cutting, you can do more with chainsaw than sawzall.
Weird dude
He really is
