I feel like Tohru was projecting her feelings of Kyo leaving her behind on her mother’s memory and on Akito. This is not the first time Tohru wonders about being left behind. I remember her saying that on the school trip when Kyo walked by after the cat left him. She wondered then if he’ll leave her behind. Tohru herself feels left behind (although her mom leaving was because of an accident), which is why she promised to always keep her mom “always together!” So it makes sense for her to be conflicted about moving on (because initially she didn’t want to)
The insecurity of being left behind stems way before her mother's death, all the way back to her father's death. It's been said that after Katsuya died Kyoko felt like she lost her reason for living and began to neglect Tohru. This made Tohru do all she could to desperately cling onto her by imperfectly mimicking Katsuya.
Akito finally expressed her insecurity! Before she just abused people because of those insecurities, but it’s like she wasn’t even aware that she was abusive out of this fear. The first step to recovery is acknowledging the problem! This is probably why you’re not a100% mad at Akito 😅

After she snapped, Akito put her guard down and showed her innermost insecurites, fears and broken self. You can see her as Kureno discribed her; a broken and fearful girl, full of insecurities, crying alone. She must atone her sins, but she can ber forgiven.
Mad props to kyo's VA man. His "about to loose your soulmate" cries are legit. Even when Eji gets shot in banana fish. Like Woah. That desperation. My heart just broke in a million pieces. Mad props ✨💓😢✨💓💓
I can’t get over how real Tohru and Kyo’s love is. Even though Tohru has helped Kyo a lot, he’s also helped her move forward after the death of her mother. What really got to me was when she said she was willing to let Kyo go even though she loved him, because she’s always thinking about other’s happiness over herself 😭. Akito and Tohru had something very important in common. They both wanted their own version of eternity. A world where they'd never feel hurt or useless again. Akito spited the world because she was terrified of leaving the home she was raised in all her life and her father's final promise to her. It caused her to lash out and fight. Tohru grew to love the world because she was raised by a mother who gave her a wider perspective. But in the end, both of them lost the people most precious to them and were desperate to prove that the world needed them for something. It was why Tohru was so focused on graduating high school and helping people, but never had a vision beyond that. It was why Akito tried so hard to prove her bond with the Zodiacs would last forever and couldn't be broken, because her identity as God of the Zodiac was the only thing she ever liked about herself. Different approaches, yes, but both Tohru and Akito are broken people aggressively smiling or grimacing through their pain, trying to never show how miserable and afraid they really are.

This episode played with my emotional stability for 21 minutes, I can say I am very happy that Thoru and Kyo had their moment and to see that Akito is finally willing to make friends with Thoru, happiness has really attacked me this is the magic of Fruits Basket 🐶
As much as I can’t forgive Akito for everything she did to the Sohma Family(Yuki, Kyo, Hatori, Momiji, Rin, Kisa, Kureno etc.) I will give her credit where credit is due. Despite lashing out at Tohru earlier in this episode, she eventually opened up to her, went as far as calling for help when she fell, and even went to visit her at the hospital, which even lead to her actually smiling after all these years.
Yes I also can't forgive her for what she did to the zodiac members, but I appreciate her for finally being able to open up and realize the mistakes that she has made. I'm glad that she had someone like Tohru to help her, without Tohru I feel like Akito would never be able to be her true self and own up to her mistakes. She's finally got a friend that doesn't plan on leaving her behind.
I think the magic of the writing was that all the time before, we had no context for Akito's actions. We just knew he was the head of the household and we assumed it was a powertrip. Then we fond out he was God to the Zodiacs and we were corrected in that every relationship with him was about power. But in these last episodes, we get to know who Akito is. Her troubled relationship with Ren. The things that Akira made her believe about herself and being special. And finally from Akito herself, her fear of being abandoned, of always being the odd one out, of being the only one who actually wants the connection. Shigure was trying to urge her towards this path, but he did it in a cold, distant and manipulative way (probably because a straightforward approach was out of the question at the time). Kureno stayed with her out of pity and obligation and only coddled her, which Akito herself recognized when she screamed "Why didn't you leave me before?" before stabbing him. Even Hatori treats Akito as if she is a child. But now, Tohru is listening to her. She is hearing her worries and she is not invalidating her. In fact, she recognizes that the things Akito wants are the things that she herself want. So that couldn't make Akito a bad person, because she only hopes for things people normally hope for-- to be loved, to feel accepted, to be treasured.
Your dismay at not feeling any anger at Akito made my day, seriously, and contributed a lot to reconcile me a little with the adaptation! XD This is totally relatable you know and you're definitely not alone. I know that it seems simple for a lot of anime-only, for Tohru to just let go of her mom and accept her feelings for Kyo. But remember that at the time the series start, her mom had died just three months ago, and the only way Tohru had to cope was by clinging so hard to the memory of her mom. "Always together". Talking to the picture of Kyoko as if it was alive. Cute wasn't it? It's no wonder that growing beyond her grief felt like a betrayal of sorts. That's why Tohru is able to relate to Akito so well. She understands at this moment the pain of leaving behind precious things and feelings. The sadness of goodbyes that have drown Akito since the time her father died and then Kureno's curse broke.
I just like people’s reaction to dat unexpected kiss (cuz same) and finally someone said they’re finally seeing her girly side cuz for the longest time she’s been acting like a dude out of force and i feel like after meeting tohru she’s ready to just let everything go. Altho some ppl still hates her but u can’t deny she’s totally changing for the good near the end there
Lala.... I think it is because of the writing of the show, that we feel different towards Akito. Akito just admitted to wrong-doing and is now willing to change because of a little love from her mom Tohru, that Ren never gave her. Akito even changed her posture towards other people and her body language changed too, which we visibly see in the anime. Akito is a victim of falling for a big lie... the lie that is... she is special and is above everyone else, when she realized she is just as human as everyone else, she panicked and felt betrayed cause they lied and she believed it for her whole life and that life was wasted. That is why Akito stabbed Kureno, it was basically revenge for not enlightening her earlier about that. Tohru is a respresentation of a new life, a new beginning for Akito and she actually wants to accept it.
I always had the mindset that it's more about understanding Akito not fully forgiving. I don't know if that possible, just being able to see how and why things happened this way
Yeah, it’s basically empathy, being able to understand why a person is the way they are and feeling bad for them but not forgiving her. By the end of the manga I’ve started to like her way more
Momji is one of my fav characters, he backed off of Tohru because he knew she loved Kyo. He comforted Akito and he also knows how to go off on people like damn. His smile is so precious too! At 16:07 he had a bunny on that handkerchief, you can't see it but when I was watching it for the first time I thought it was soo cute!!! Also Akito at the end in Tohru's hosptial room blushing like that reminds me of Rin. When Rin opened up to Tohru. Rin is also one of my favourites, I love how she is protective over Tohru! Also she is bada** and also really prettyy🥰 I'm also starting to like Akito as well she is getting the character development she needed.
I like that they put the tent there. Cause Shigure has warned in like.. the very first episode that the land around that area is sorta unstable. And it's raining too Just like the night her tent was burried
Yes I agree! Seeing Akito this way and being honest about her feelings was refreshing. I’ve hated her every time but I definitely felt open to her after she opens up.
Shigure has a partial conscience, at least; Hatori got what he was up to all along. In some ways, I feel Hatori was kinda open to Shigure's plan to use Tohru as a catalyst to reaching Akito/breaking the curse via snapping her out of her grandiose ideations/taking her out of her comfort zone and exposing her to the magic that is Tohru Honda (as a possible bridge from her inner world of Head of the Soma clan to the outer of the world/humanity). Not in a malicious way, but a 'necessary evil' or, in Tohru's case, a 'necessary good' that would shake Akito to her foundation and start her mental reboot with a true, supportive friend to learn genuine empathy from. That is all that was in my head.
Akito was like that because she was raised in a very toxic environment without knowing genuine love. We think from the beginning that the curse affects only the other membres, but Akito is also a victim of that curse. Now we see the person that's behind all that and it's just like Kureno said "a crying girl, more lonley than anyone, more fragile than anyone". (The moment she stands up and runs towards the door is because she hears the ambulance if I remember correctly).
I super love your reactions to Fruits Basket, but whenever it's about Kyoko Honda being "left behind", I just can't help but hurt because I know that feeling when my brother passed away, I kinda went through what Tohru went through, and I always felt bad whenever I wanted to stop mourning, it took me like a decade to get over it before finally deciding to move forward. It's real, girl, and it's something I would never wish someone else to go through because it's just terrible. Watching this series and reading the manga, seeing Tohru overcome it all...it was something I needed to see. :((
Not exactly there just needs to be a certain amount of contact so you can kiss and hold hands among other stuff, like a piggy back ride would make them transform it depends on how much touching essentially
Fruits basket really is soo good it knows how to pull at your heart like ahh *chefs kiss* it’s just too good everything in general about fruits basket is beautiful I can’t wait for the next episode
Yeah, because she's finally learning. Though I would be on the other side of the room if we were together. You have to learn how to set boundaries before you can trust someone completely.
@@mafumafuisakitty3498 Yeah I’m happy she’s such a good mother, someone said that, “akito probably spoils her kid rotten but is still over protective of him”, and I can see that, just so she doesn’t turn into ren.
Honestly, I was expecting Akito softening to Tohru. She was at her breaking point with those series of events, she lost the companion of the zodiacs and then Ren attacked... Tohru was the most suitable person to appear this very moment. Their gradual development is outstanding.
Right? The way the camera zooms out.... I'm just thinking to myself, it made it to them!! They got your message. All of us watching... Got your message Tohru ❤️
I still don’t like Akito. But I do like the fact that she’s starting to acknowledge what she did was wrong, and I hope she starts to make things right. I don’t think Rin will ever be able to forgive her because she almost killed her. But the rest maybe able to move on. I hope they do. They all deserve happiness. Someone said that Akito’s kids gets bullied and I hope not though. Children shouldn’t have to suffer for the sins of their parents.
Yeah, I’ve had so many people tell me, “How do you like akito?!”, a character being good doesn’t mean they’re good in the sense of good and evil but for me it’s she’s such good written character
This ep had me crying not only cause of the characters but bc of how beautiful and healing tohru's words are not just to akito and kyo but for ppl in general who suffer from trauma
I say that maybe the voice at the end is Kyo, but in a more ... sweet tone? Like, I mean, not in his serious or angry way, just being sincere from his heart by saying his feelings? Because his sweet tone did remind me of Kyo.
No don't worry, you're not the only one. I feel like I can forgive Akito because she clearly feels bad and can't forgive herself. That's the beginning of a greater path and I don't feel in the right to not forgive because I think this is something anyone could become if raised under the wrong circumstances.
I’m pretty sure Akito jumped up because the ambulance showed up! In the manga it shows the “wee woo” sound effect, but they didn’t really put anything in here to indicate why she reacted
I was thinking that. In my head, I'm like "oh the ambulance came" but I wish they would have added the sound, or showed flashing lights, or something....
I agree too this episode really redeemed Akito but of course it will take the zodiac members to take time to forgive her. The creator did such an amazing job to with this in the manga My heart on the Tohru montage on loving Kyo made me bawl I had to watch it twice. Can we say Momiji was definitely best boy here!
I'm just here to clarify that Akito didn't purposely stab Tohru. Tohru walked into the knife and Akito probably went into defense and accidentally stabbed her
Today's episode one of the best fruits basket episode ah akito's character development and kyoru ah ! I just love it!!! 😭💕💕 Now tohru is akito's first friend and also kureno and tohru saved😭💕💕
This is, in my personal opinion, the best episode of Fruits Basket: The Final I've seen so far. Episode 9 was a true testament of Tohru's "power" to save the Sohma family by establishing common ground with the one person we've least expect to become ingratiated with Tohru - Akito. I'm incredibly happy that Akito was redeemed because both she and Tohru share a similar trait they both lack: self-preservation. When you think about it, Tohru yearned for the same outcome - "unchanging feelings", "eternity", with the one person that she felt indebted to, which was her late mother, Kyoko. This helped mitigate Tohru's fear of abandonment and feelings of loneliness; however, Tohru feared that she would eventually forget her past with Kyoko if she allows herself to step into the future and move on with her life; in other words, she was caught between 'honoring' her mother's memory and feeling 'indebted' to her mother's memory. The same concept was with Akito, yet the case was with her father, Akira. Tohru and Akito are two lonely girls yearning for the same thing - unchanging feelings, an eternal bond - despite their predisposed positions in society, yet they were afraid of moving forward with new things because they felt they wouldn't be able to preserve the memory of the people they loved the most: Kyoko and Akira. It's counterintuitive because Kyoko and Akira would 'want' their daughters to move forward in their lives and live it to the fullest with the new changes they would exhibit - in Tohru's case: Kyo.
I’m happy that akito finally begins her healing process (with help of the others and honestly she definitely needs a therapist but now she’ll probably be ready to take that step!). She went through hell with her mom and has many psychological issues and now she can finally be free from all of that and learn to express herself and start a new life. I definitely do not begrudge her. However I don’t think she deserves to have a new fresh start with all the people she has wronged. I hope they all can learn to accept the past and that she apologizes by everyone individually but I wouldn’t like if they just negate what happened and try to play it down. Akito herself was aware that she did wrong when she did it, she didn’t know how to act better but that doesn’t justify and apologize her actions. She has inflicted mental torture and physical violence on a lot of these ppl for years, traumatized them and that’s why I think their relationships have been destroyed and are irreparable. That’s bittersweet and sad but so is life and I think her actions have to have consequences. And I don’t think that not wanting to see her anymore is not a sign of pettiness or resentfulness or weakness. You can forgive someone but still not want to see this person anymore in your life
I'm so bitter-sweet about this episode. My fear is that she has memory loss but I don't think so since she reached out to Akito but still like -wheeze- the whole conversation of starting over with Akito got me nervous af
As a manga reader, I've waited years for this episode and it was amazing! 💓💓💓 I was confused over the significance of the blue plastic, because it isn't in the manga, but it's from Tohru's tent from the first episode! This adds to why that cliffside was so fragile, as it's the same area that collapsed onto her tent back then. Plus, we come full circle to when Tohru meets the Soma's for the first time and becomes intertwined with the Zodiacs. The blood on his hand hit me hard (since the manga is black & white, it just doesn't have the same effect). Not far away or somewhere above, but sitting next to me & nearby: "There you are. I found you... I'd like you to be my friend..."
Kyo's curse is not broken. It just that Akito heard the ambulance (in the manga says "ninonino" in that panel. They need full contact to transform, just a kiss doesn't do it. If you notice, Kyo's body does not touch Tohru's, just the lips
You know, I thought it would be depressing, but the thoughts of “the 215 children” have been weighing on my mind-it’s a part of my culture & if you found out now, I’m just tired of how it took today to acknowledge such a tragedy...
The best way I’ve seen it described is that now, we have an explanation for why Akito did what she did. It doesn’t justify anything, but it does explain it. So it leaves us understanding why some characters (like Tohru) would want to forgive Akito and why someone people IRL or characters wouldn’t want to forgive her. And it both cases, it’s fine, as long as we keep seeing Akito growing
After everything Akito has done, how can those two forgive her? I know I could never... The zodiacs would probably still look with a look of resentment towards Akito especially Kyo even if Tohru accepts Akito now...
While watching this episode I was super sick and lying in bed like I literally couldn't get up for anything - except when Akito started slicing Tohru. I literally sat up so fast and started punching the bed my brother nearly got a heart attack
i been on team kyo since day 1 i dont want anyone switching up now but kinda sad hes not there with her but i wanna see the progress with yuki and machi and it took akito 3 seasons and almost a murder to realize they arent gonna hate her well maybe a little and lala you should think of starting a patreon we get to see full time reaction and you get payed. Idk if i forgive akito but this is the first time i actually think shes cute like shat shirt and sweater but im still mad a lil if she repays for all shes done
So non spoiler from a manga reader but I really wasn’t 100% on Akito’s turn around/redemption when I first read this part. Coming things that will hopefully get animated helped me to be a little more okay with it and then the Sequel Series Fruits Basket Another just solidified it for me.
19:08 "The show's not THAT dark" is where the "show" fails. It is very toned down. I didnt cry nearly as much watching the remake as reading the manga and even the original anime.
No kyo is still cured and remember when hatori and kana kissed and he didn't transform cuz they weren't hugging only kissing without embracing is aloud
The aftermath of the accident was more impactful in the manga, mostly because it ended right at the kiss if i recall correctly and left the Clift hanger of "did she survived?", Don't get me wrong the anime makes a heck of a job making you feel like she might die but since it was at the half way mark i think that hurt it a little when it came to the impact and the uncertainty
From the start of this anime, i just didn't feel any hate towards akito. No matter what she had done towards them, i just feel sad and pity for her rather than loathe her. Idk why. I just sympathized. And i really felt proud of her in this episode. She had mistakes, but u know a person gets that attitude if she has a problem in her mind (mental illness i guess) . She was left behind, no one to guide to the right path, that's why she did those unforgivable things. She's broken inside, from the very beginning
Ah, I do have manga knowledge but from an anime only perspective, without putting in my manga knowledge, Akito reacted to ambulance coming not Kyos curse breaking. But that was a nice guess haha
I believe a kiss doesn’t transform someone. Only a full embrace. I don’t think the curse is broken yet. I think it happens later. But yeah, I do think even Akito deserves happiness despite her actions. And of course it was Tohru to heal Akito.
im not 100% i think the voice at the end is ayame or whatever his name is the snake dude yuki brother. it could be yuki as well would be nice to get yuki and machi moment after this one
Despite all the bad stuff Akito, what I love most about her is her character development. People can change.
Even the seemingly worst that are supposed to be beyond redemption.
And she wants to change, and wanting that is the first step

The sadness of goodbyes that have drown Akito since the time her father died and then Kureno's curse broke.
kissing doesn't make them transform, only hugging does
I just like people’s reaction to dat unexpected kiss (cuz same) and finally someone said they’re finally seeing her girly side cuz for the longest time she’s been acting like a dude out of force and i feel like after meeting tohru she’s ready to just let everything go.
I also wasn't mad at Akito for some reason. Like the hatred I had for her disappeared in just one episode.
I always had the mindset that it's more about understanding Akito not fully forgiving. I don't know if that possible, just being able to see how and why things happened this way
True, I don't love Akito, but I understand her, in some way I know how she feels ❤💔
Yeah, it’s basically empathy, being able to understand why a person is the way they are and feeling bad for them but not forgiving her. By the end of the manga I’ve started to like her way more
I loved this episode the most with both growth and character development
I don't think the kiss counted as a hug because Yuki kissed Tohru in season 2 and he didn't transform.
I think the end is Kakeru about his gf or at least I hope because the show mentioned her one time but it may be Yuki
And it's raining too
Just like the night her tent was burried
What a surprising growth development for Akito. Finally Akito consider Tohru as her first genuine friend. So hyped for the next episode as always.
That is all that was in my head.
her freaking out about the kiss "oh wait the tent" then continues to freak out about the kiss XD
That cliff scene had me shook but I ended up with a fluffy feeling as well
Akito was like that because she was raised in a very toxic environment without knowing genuine love.
"Mom! I'm gonna take you on this love journey!!!!"
- Lala, 2021
I super love your reactions to Fruits Basket, but whenever it's about Kyoko Honda being "left behind", I just can't help but hurt because I know that feeling when my brother passed away, I kinda went through what Tohru went through, and I always felt bad whenever I wanted to stop mourning, it took me like a decade to get over it before finally deciding to move forward. It's real, girl, and it's something I would never wish someone else to go through because it's just terrible. Watching this series and reading the manga, seeing Tohru overcome it all...it was something I needed to see. :((
Kyo curse did not break. Their chests have to touch to cause the transformation.
Thank you, I was about to say the same thing.
I can learn to forgive Akito but only if she makes up for her past mistakes.
Yeah, because she's finally learning. Though I would be on the other side of the room if we were together. You have to learn how to set boundaries before you can trust someone completely.
Oh yeah, she did something that will probably appear in next or next next ep that really make me forgive her
@@Eatingyeast Honestly it took me to read Fruits basket another to forgive her
@@Animeworld-wu1uq ikr
Fruit basket another makes you feel so bad for her
@@mafumafuisakitty3498 Yeah
I’m happy she’s such a good mother, someone said that, “akito probably spoils her kid rotten but is still over protective of him”, and I can see that, just so she doesn’t turn into ren.
Honestly, I was expecting Akito softening to Tohru. She was at her breaking point with those series of events, she lost the companion of the zodiacs and then Ren attacked... Tohru was the most suitable person to appear this very moment. Their gradual development is outstanding.
At 13:11 I cried so hard because it also lowkey felt like she was speaking to us and with the „did I reach you“? MY HEART-
Right? The way the camera zooms out.... I'm just thinking to myself, it made it to them!! They got your message. All of us watching... Got your message Tohru ❤️
It was Akito's first time calling people for someone else 😭😭 and it was for Toru omg I'm crying 😢😭😭😭😭
In Fruits Basket Another, Akito's son was tormented by Ren and the older Sohmas for some dumb reasons.
I couldn't wait for people to see this Akito, I still may not love her but I don't hate her after all this
It's ok how anyone feels for Akito though
Yeah, I’ve had so many people tell me, “How do you like akito?!”, a character being good doesn’t mean they’re good in the sense of good and evil but for me it’s she’s such good written character
Tohru is A SAINT , A GODDAMN ANGEL! THE BLUE PRINT OF A SOFT GIRL I LOVE HER
I cried last night when I heard Kyo's "Tohru" while shaking...
Kudos Uchida Yuma for voicing Kyo TvT
This ep had me crying not only cause of the characters but bc of how beautiful and healing tohru's words are not just to akito and kyo but for ppl in general who suffer from trauma
I say that maybe the voice at the end is Kyo, but in a more ... sweet tone? Like, I mean, not in his serious or angry way, just being sincere from his heart by saying his feelings? Because his sweet tone did remind me of Kyo.
Yup it's kyo
No don't worry, you're not the only one. I feel like I can forgive Akito because she clearly feels bad and can't forgive herself. That's the beginning of a greater path and I don't feel in the right to not forgive because I think this is something anyone could become if raised under the wrong circumstances.
Did tohru fell where her old tent was? The place where she used to keep her mother's picture.
Yes she did
Love your reactions, just to clarify, when Akito rects and stands up, it is because she heard the ambulance, it is not curse related.
9:46 The bomb has detonated. 🤯
The creator did such an amazing job to with this in the manga
My heart on the Tohru montage on loving Kyo made me bawl I had to watch it twice. Can we say Momiji was definitely best boy here!
I'm just here to clarify that Akito didn't purposely stab Tohru. Tohru walked into the knife and Akito probably went into defense and accidentally stabbed her
I was thinking, Don't walk towards the knife!!! Purposely or accidentally, you're very likely to get hurt
Momiji the only one speaking truth to power.
Today's episode one of the best fruits basket episode ah akito's character development and kyoru ah ! I just love it!!! 😭💕💕
Now tohru is akito's first friend and also kureno and tohru saved😭💕💕
Akito is taking her first step of self-changing. This is why i don't 100% mad at her or blame her for everything
Kyo’s curse isn’t broken
In the manga Akito gets up like that because she heard the ambulance sirens.
Congratulations you reached 80k subs!!!!
I was confused over the significance of the blue plastic, because it isn't in the manga, but it's from Tohru's tent from the first episode!
This episode 10000000000000/100💛
Btw it's Kyo who's voicing the preview phrase for next week's ep
I still feel bad for rin but overall it’s good that toru saved akito and akito apologised to kureno.
You know, I thought it would be depressing, but the thoughts of “the 215 children” have been weighing on my mind-it’s a part of my culture & if you found out now, I’m just tired of how it took today to acknowledge such a tragedy...
18:24 that's kyo
The best way I’ve seen it described is that now, we have an explanation for why Akito did what she did. It doesn’t justify anything, but it does explain it. So it leaves us understanding why some characters (like Tohru) would want to forgive Akito and why someone people IRL or characters wouldn’t want to forgive her. And it both cases, it’s fine, as long as we keep seeing Akito growing
gurlll there's only one character in the show we have not seen yet... I really hope we get to see them.
What a let down. You weren't even a little worried for Tohru falling off a cliff 😂
Tohru definitely have no survival instinct. But she got crazy magical power too.
i been on team kyo since day 1 i dont want anyone switching up now but kinda sad hes not there with her but i wanna see the progress with yuki and machi and it took akito 3 seasons and almost a murder to realize they arent gonna hate her well maybe a little and lala you should think of starting a patreon we get to see full time reaction and you get payed.
Did anyone notice Tohru tent !!!
yeah I was like OMG that was a nice touch
and its have been foreshadowing from s1
@@uvick3017 wow that's wild
No kyo is still cured and remember when hatori and kana kissed and he didn't transform cuz they weren't hugging only kissing without embracing is aloud
The aftermath of the accident was more impactful in the manga, mostly because it ended right at the kiss if i recall correctly and left the Clift hanger of "did she survived?", Don't get me wrong the anime makes a heck of a job making you feel like she might die but since it was at the half way mark i think that hurt it a little when it came to the impact and the uncertainty
finally!! miss lala reaction is here!!
FB has had a lot of emotional episodes along the way, but this one broke me.
Kyo is still cursed. It’s only when they’re embraced by the opposite sex or really weak that they transform. So a kiss doesn’t make them transform.
i agree, this episode is so satisfying
I think we all got what we’ve been waiting for, no doubt
seeing Akito's true self gave me goosebumps
it was a plot twist then to what happened in the 2001 version
From the start of this anime, i just didn't feel any hate towards akito. No matter what she had done towards them, i just feel sad and pity for her rather than loathe her. Idk why. I just sympathized. And i really felt proud of her in this episode. She had mistakes, but u know a person gets that attitude if she has a problem in her mind (mental illness i guess) . She was left behind, no one to guide to the right path, that's why she did those unforgivable things. She's broken inside, from the very beginning
Hugging the opposite sex is the only thing that turns them into their zodiac animals
Ah, I do have manga knowledge but from an anime only perspective, without putting in my manga knowledge, Akito reacted to ambulance coming not Kyos curse breaking. But that was a nice guess haha
Notice how they took her mom's picture off the opening
I think the voice at the end for the title of the next episode is kyo’s
I believe a kiss doesn’t transform someone. Only a full embrace. I don’t think the curse is broken yet. I think it happens later. But yeah, I do think even Akito deserves happiness despite her actions. And of course it was Tohru to heal Akito.
i'm sure you'll find out soon who that voice was in the next episode
l am so proud of my self because of the time l decided to watch this masterpeice
im not 100% i think the voice at the end is ayame or whatever his name is the snake dude yuki brother. it could be yuki as well would be nice to get yuki and machi moment after this one
i've been waitinggg
