Yeah, usually the girl's parents are against it until somehow the boy proves himself "worthy" of the girl. So Kyotaro's relationship with them, especially Yamada's dad is quite nice and refreshing

This is also the reason why she responds the text with the joke of her dumping him, she doesn't know Ichikawa is in a moment of real distress.

About the topic of admiring and having a crush on a celebrity, these are some of the insights I wanted to point out from the perspective of someone who's a musician and has a lot of experience in the entertainment industry and meeting artists and celebrities in a daily basis which gave me knowledge and insight on how to behave properly when meeting people in the industry. Having a crush and admiring a celebrity is just normal even when meeting them and getting starstruck is normal as well but when you see them more often in events and happen to befriend them is such a great thing. however, you should know the difference between admiration to obsession and you'll be fine. Anyway as for someone who's into seiyuus (voice actors) I have many seiyuu crushes and Yamada Anna's seiyuu the lovely Yōmiya Hina is one of them and I'm also someone who prefers 3d over 2d, so yeah even the odds of ever meeting, dating, and marrying a seiyuu is a slim 1% chance that 1% can still reach 100% since there are some seiyuus that even marries nonshowbiz personalities and at least having a seiyuu girlfriend we can do roleplays as she tell me the lines that she says from the character that she voiced than in fictional characters that will still be 0% and let's be real here you can't marry fictional characters unless you're that crazy dude named Kondo Akihiko who married Hatsune Miku. Anyway as for me, when the seiyuu that I have a crush on has been in a relationship or got married, I'm not that upset. I still support them in their roles and their talent and just be happy for them, and as I said, I have many seiyuu crushes, so if someone got married, then move on to the next, haha.
