That C# you fit under the D# chord is called the "9th" of the chord. You could even try putting a "C" in the chord somewhere... that's the major 7th. Major 7 chords are probably my favorite because they sound like a rainy day.... :)

This was happening to me too. I thought it wasn't working until I put the notes were in the piano roll. Make sure all your selections are the same as his too, along with the lines, and make sure "1" is not selected on the bottom.
thats fuckin awesome, thanks for the tutorial i will be using this to increase my skills with fl studio. i always use to think that the only way to get great sounding songs was by using premium plugins, but after listening to the demo song Fausta by OZIASO, i was totally blown away by the fact that this person only used 3x osc. if anyone is using fl studio and you feel like giving up, just check out that demo song. i mean im a noob at fl studio, but when i look at that potential, the fact that literally everything was made from straight up basic sine, saw, and square waves, i just cant even wrap my mind around it.

im pretty new to FL and this whole Patterns and Channel Rack is new for me but in between what he is doing make sure you select correct Patterns to put stuff on the playlist otherwise it gets messy(this is comment is for begginers only) Please correct me if i'm wrong.

Several people have asked where these sample files are. I don't think they come with the newest Producer version. I looked at all of the system files and they are not there. Was really excited too. :(
hey if you want to make that pumping sound and you don't have gross beat just go to the volume envelope go to the lfo tab and adjust the speed of the lfo

You made it interesting to watch the whole video, that's a bright side, and also the knowledge we get.. but, the only thing I don't like is that you're overdoing eq and make your sound thin - which makes your sound less powerful in total xD I appreciate your tutorial because I am in need of some extra knowledge to start making future bass, and you helped me :D The most valuable thing/idea I saw from this video is that gross beat trick to make sound more "choppy" xD
Do you coincidentally know how to remove the crack/basslike sound that comes straight at the beginning of the sytrus thing? I figured out that I might remove it by delaying the thing a bit with the attack but then obviously its falsely timed..
im extremely new to producing. i know some music theory and just started learning fl where do i find the kicks and hits and synths? are those like samples orrrr what im a little lost on that

At 4:37, how do you get the envelopes even like That? When I try to do it manually, they're never exactly the same
I mean you can see there is a grid just adjust it so they always begin on another line in the grid :)

But if you don't make your sounds more subtle. Then they add up and result in a muddy mix overall. Less is more I'd say :P
