I finally made your G-ma's oven fried chicken after wanting to for a while now. My family raved and were asking at the dinner table when I was going to make it again! Thank you so much for our new favourite chicken recipe!
Hello to you Jennifer and family! My husband and I just moved house this past weekend, and we had such sweet and amazing friends along with our oldest son help us. We went from a huge home to a small ranch style home. We are empty nesters for the most part now, and needed to sell our big home and downsize. We rent for the time being, but hope to find a small home on some property in the country soon! All this to say, your recipe ideas are just what I needed to help get me back into the swing of meal prep ideas. We have been eating out and that is so darn expensive and hard on tummy's after a few days. :) Thank you so much for always sharing all your yummy, filling and home cooked meals!
I'm sure that moving to size down comes with heartache as well as anticipation of a new chapter. Best of wishes getting back into cooking and learning a new kitchen layout.
Hi Jennifer and sweet family! Delicious looking meals and I’m glad you liked the ham. Joe is definitely going through the teenager stage. How many times as a mother do we have to say you heard me, lol. I hope everyone has a blessed day!
First off, Love your videos (espcially the Holidays) second, I've noticed Tyson chicken product has been going downhill since the cough cough C word had been around.
Oh my gosh I would never , ever pay that much for a toaster lol 😢 I always spray my foil maybe make the chicken drippings into a breakfast milk gravy with biscuits . Looks delicious 🤤 thank you for sharing ! 🌻🍁🌻
I've taken frozen chicken nuggets and made chicken parmesan with it. I pour some spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a pan, layer the frozen nuggets in the bottom, cover with sauce and whatever cheeses I have, top with more sauce, then keep making layers with the final one being cheese, bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.
Lots of great meals for your family, thanks for giving us some inspiration and ideas of good combinations. I normally make my mother-in-law's recipe for spaghetti pie but it comes out so heavy and dense. The one you showed at the end looks fun to try and I have a hunch Hubby will love it, thank you! Have a great week, Jennifer.
My kids do not like that brand of chicken nuggets for the same reasons. But I'm that mom that says.. we have to eat them before we open a different brand. Aldi chicken strips, in the blue bag, are my kids #1 kind of bread chicken product. And I love hearing Joe commentary in the background.
I too have found that tyson chicken nuggets just don't get as crispy anymore when I got a bag on sale won't spend my money for them again cause they spent more time in the freezer then anything else 😑
Great video! Your meals looked delicious. I am making sloppy joes (Pioneer Woman recipe) or barbeque, as you call it. It is so good, and I haven't made it for a while. Have a great rest of your weekend!
I’m watching this video on Sunday. I’m not sure when you put it out but we ate the same thing. We ate pork country, pork ribs that I barbecued at in the Houston green beans and homemade mashed potatoes with a big glass of water
Oh my word, the Mom after telling Joe to go put his things away! Definitely a teenager lol the oven fried chicken looks amazing and now I'm going to have to make some this week.
Hello Jennifer thank you for sharing your vlog much appreciated by us all xxxx I remember you having cabbage steaks a good while ago I kindly ask you If one can ask To make cabbage steaks with a tomato cream sauce I have tried this absolutely delicious ❤❤❤❤
Hi Jennifer. Self-lowering toaster--what will they think of next LOL. Joe is quite the helper, calling out items you had in the freezer. The ham roast looked delicious. Thanks for sharing. Hugs.
I hope harvest is going well! I have one more question I’d like to submit for your Q&A - what is the difference between hot dish and a casserole? I’m down on the other end of the country and we don’t have hotdish, or maybe we do and we call it something else? Thank you!
Ham looks good. I know that toaster is a sponsor and you need to do your part. However, if there is anyone out there that’s too lazy to push down the toaster button, they’re probably too lazy to have a job and can’t afford it! It is a pretty toaster…..their advertising idea is faulty. It was funny watching you try not to laugh at the idea of pushing a button down being a lot of effort. Good job there!
Yes.. i always treat a fresh ham like a Boston butt. Love that you cooked fat side up...this always keeps it moist and doesn't dry out..just like cooking brisket...the fat seeps in keeping the meat from drying out. Looked delish Jennifer! ❤😊
Fun video Jennifer! I thought the Kitchenaid toaster I bought last year was nice. This one looks so much more techy and exciting. I'm getting a kick out of your mushroom powder spice. 😂 Last year I pressure canned a mushroom soup base that has been so awesome to add to soups and sauces. It's like an umami bomb. Yum. Smooth though, no mushrooms to bite into. Question for your q and a, How did you go about giving up coffee creamer??? Love from Mn, Jen

I need to try some of your recipes. I’m always nervous to try new recipes because I’m an extremely picky eater. I’m going to try this chicken recipe this week and sometime later a tater tot casserole.
Good using what you have

You can say Covid, its okay to say it. 😂
@@annaloveshercats I'm just being safe. I don't want TH-cam algorithm to associate that word and do whatever they do when that word pops up.
And Tyson is supposedly experimenting with insect additions to their long range planning; namely grasshoppers. What is happening to this world??
Glad I watched ...heading to the kitchen to make pizza casserole. Yum
Yay! Meals from Jennifer :-) Love Joe telling us everything in the freezer. He's a great assistant
Takes the work out of breakfast. 😄
Thankyou Jennifer for some lovely ideas. 🇬🇧🥰

That fresh ham looked delicious! 😊
I boil my ham/ gammon either in water, Coke or cider. To make lunch meat or after boiling roast in oven with honey.
Every meal looked absolutely delicious! I want to come to your house for dinner! 😄
Seriously, though, thank you for sharing. ☺
if thereisabone in thehamroast try baby white beans and pepper and salt little water with bean and have beans and ham and Corn Bread

The spaghetti casserole was so creamy. I’m eager to make it again.

I’ve never thought pushing the lever down on the toaster was a big deal, still the automatic feature is fun.
Everything looks so good! Thank you for sharing!

Plus 100$ is not easy for many viewers at this point. Plus saying co dos are getting shorter is untrue.
I'm genuinely awestruck by your video! _ "Challenges are transformative stepping stones."

You can even roast in oven low and slow then make pulled pork sandwiches!
Pork sandwiches are always a winner.
I need a new crockpot, use mine all the time. Love em.

Jennifer I have found that chicken is taste less these days.
With tinfoil, the dull side is for cold food, and the shiny side is for hot food. Helps with sticking too ❤😊
That's false.
Reynolds wrap themself says it doesn't matter and the only reason the sides are dull or shiny is because of manufacturing.
Sounds like this could be a hot topic. Thanks for the info.
What difference does it make? I've used both sides for hot food. When do you put cold food on top of foil?
@@marykirkpatrick9382To wrap it for your lunch or food storage.
