Ok, I know how this trick was done. 52 times 51 times 50 is 132,600. If you perform this act this many times, you will be guaranteed all three pairs of cards will match at least once. Then you simply discard 132,599 bad videos and mail in the right one. :-)
This is insanely great! Is there somewhere to purchase the solution to this trick? I've loved magic my whole life so it's rare for me to be fooled, but I have no idea how you did this (spinning over the decks and showing the cards to be different destroyed all the theories I had)!
I am working on it! If you like you could be my first test buyer. I would send you the trick/explanation video and we could discuss what I could improve. Contact me: me [a] siomio.com. Same for anyone who reads this ;)
@@Mr87corey so if you can't figure something out, then there's no point in trying to learn it? Yeah, I don't agree with that logic at all. But more than happy to hear out your explanation if you think you can explain it!
This fooled my much more than the show routine. The way I decided you did the fool us trick (which obviously could be wrong) wouldn't have worked here.
think i got it...the reason you didn't have Penn and teller come up to stage is because they might have worked out the deck is marked or just a few marked cards AND set with cut cards to force drops
ok so if u just used marked and cut cards this trick would be a bit risky letting people shuffle, i did see you make an effort not to let people shuffle too much but that guy did anyway here...maybe you just got lucky but i think you have found a 3rd factor to make everything more consistent...
You are right, I could have used cut and marked cards, but I didn't. Normally I let everyone shuffle a lot, but that takes a long time and there are strickt time restrictions on Fool Us.
Cool. Good video, good trick. Takes a bit of courage to go on Penn and Teller Fool Us. Or even just to perform for that small audience on your audition tape. Nice Job. 😎
Great performance and video Till! Quick question. How long did it take you to hear back from when you submitted your video to getting the invitation, thank you!
Just a few weeks. But I send in the video in October and they normally pick the acts till the end of December to get everything setup for the recordings in February.
I like the audition version better than the show. Both are foolers. But the audition version has nothing in your hands plus the appearance of even less opportunity for funny business. Besides having no idea how it's done, I have no idea how Penn and Teller knew or what in Penn's remarks told you they knew. I used to do close-up in restaurants back in the '80s. But my knowledge and repertoire were pretty basic and shallow. So I'm easily fooled by performers like you. Great routine.
The forced cards are different sizes which will then produce the "force." At the end, you cut the deck because you knew they didn't cut it where they were supposed to and you knew because of how the deck would feel in your hands.
I actually liked the performance here a bit better than the shortened script in the show. This feels a bit more alive.

Your math is spot on!
@@haunschild LOL.
@@Not_Sure_ "Sometimes, magic is just someone spending more time on something than anyone else might reasonably expect." Teller
@@haunschild I think that is most of the times. Isn't it. Your act is amazing sir.
@@haunschild Actually his math isn't spot on, because you will not get a guarantee- even after 1 trillion tries to get a a single matching pair.
Love the "full normal deck" reveal at the end. So very good.
Thanks for sharing this! It is awesome to see your audition video.
Brilliant! Thanks for sharing! (And cool background with the wooden drawers...)

one card is already reversed when he was shuffling right?
How the hell you did it?
As a physicist I NEED TO KNOW or I will never be at peace! LOL

Ive forced drops using a cut card...bit of sandpaper to the edge works fine. but never have i allowed others to cut for me that's very brave
wait nevermind im wrong give me a min

how in hell did you not the shuffle on Penn&Teller ?
I did, but they cut it in the recording since it took the guy way to long to shuffle.
@@haunschild ah ok. problem is that we can think that the deck is not shuffled with is way less covincing.. but still an awesome trick!
I always wondered how people got on the show.
Maybe, correct if i'm wrong , this trick is based on the same principle of Knock out Prediction Outdone by Wayne Fox. Am I right ?
Yes, parts of the routine are based on Wayne Fox's idea with the improvement to have different cards each time I perform the effect.
Great trick, ill sure be on the look out for the solution :P
I will soon sell the explanation video :)
How can I get the solution?
That was a great trick.

I hoped Penn & Teller would think that and get fooled, but they discovered the real method. I am happy I at least was able to fool you :)
@@haunschild lol..ok but there's definitely a "tell" for when you know the right card is in place.
