Such a great trick I have no idea how it’s done. I know you’ll never tell but please please just say does it have anything to do with the bookmark or could you do this with any bookmark a random one given to you by someone else ?!?
Wow. This is so simple to figure out. I mean I'm looking through the comments and not a single person guessed how it was done correctly. IT'S ALL RIGHT THERE!!! She's playing a Cavaquinho which is the cousin of the ukulele. Almost had me but i see through your deception.
No need. When he riffles he forces the page. And the picture was asked when the host was already through half the book. The second halve had similar pictured that all could be described as night sky.
@@Darmachakra Did you misunderstand the ending? Penn asks if the method they used was exactly what you suggested (a clever idea, but one that has been used before). That isn't how it was done; the drawings are all different and they had a song prepared for each one. That wasn't a force. (The last trick was a force, obviously.)
The look on is face when she answered Penn's question about the illustrations seemed to be one of disbelief....like he was thinking, "Honey....what are you saying?"
felt so as well.. also the walk off. I think that the pictures actually WERE described, just not by just what's on them, but on how the "next step in the trick" is explained.. which is the same technique after all
I think I sussed out almost the whole thing on the first watch (although Penn had the same first thought I did so had to go with plan B). At least one way to do it. Pretty simple if memory intensive. Had to take a long very very long time to get right. Sadly, the only thing I can't work out is probably the easiest one for a real practicing magician to get and that is the last part of the trick. I have an idea how to force the result. But the "removal" of the page... that is something I can't figure out... at least not in concert with how the force would work.

Thank you so much!!
😻@@thecosmicromantics
At the time of 4:50 to 5:00 You could see her put her right hand underneath the ukulele as if she was pulling something out. After that she doesn't play with her thumb. She's holding something in her hand
05:22 he may be putting away the page he took from the book
@@fabian.L6 I think the page with Dec 13 is part of that yellow card (and that is what he is putting away). The page in question is missing from the start.
If you do a comparison of the page in the book and the one she is holding, they are not the same.
Good to know I'm not the only one that thought the page was wonky looking
@thomcorp having two pages that match is the easiest, non magician thing to do, and still you see smth different... Good luck with unveiling the rest of the trick
Super AMAZING!!!
Thank you!
Such an awesome act! 😍❤️💚 You really filled the magic with a colourful, exciting story. ❤️
Thank you!!
You two were awesome. So happy to see you take the 🏆 🎉🎊😊👍👍🪄✨️👏👏👏❤️👏👏👏
Thank you!
@@elizabethmessick2024 your welcome. I also subscribed to your channel too 😊👍
Great stuff, guys! Thanks for sharing this!
Such a great trick I have no idea how it’s done. I know you’ll never tell but please please just say does it have anything to do with the bookmark or could you do this with any bookmark a random one given to you by someone else ?!?
Very entertaining!
thanks!!
I thought he was Andrew Schulz for the first half of the performance I swear.
I was so confused🤣
Amazing performance by the way
We had to look him up lol. I (Elizabeth) can kind of see it! And thank you for the compliment :)
May the.. *force* be with you! Great job!
Alison was sooo much better. Sure, she was awkward, but that was her charm. A lot better looking too!!
Wow. This is so simple to figure out. I mean I'm looking through the comments and not a single person guessed how it was done correctly. IT'S ALL RIGHT THERE!!!
She's playing a Cavaquinho which is the cousin of the ukulele. Almost had me but i see through your deception.
If he says date, its a certain page, if he says read dear diary its a certain page, my theory
No need. When he riffles he forces the page. And the picture was asked when the host was already through half the book. The second halve had similar pictured that all could be described as night sky.
No force, but good guess! @@Darmachakra
I think that the pictures actually WERE described, just not by just what's on them, but on how the "next step in the trick" is explained.. which is the same technique after all
Legend has it she's still frozen on stage to this very day.
One of the funniest routines I've seen, great job!
Well done!! Loved the whole routine and aesthetic. Hope to see more of yall!
Great couple. I hope they stay that way forever.
Thank you!!
I’m so happy for her
I think I sussed out almost the whole thing on the first watch (although Penn had the same first thought I did so had to go with plan B).
Great act!
Thank you!!
Amaría ver una serie completa (de unos 4 capítulos) de The Cosmic Romantics fooling Penn and Teller. Esta rutina es excelsa. La simplicidad, el carisma y el ukulele la hacen singular y única. Well done, guys. Un abrazo desde México.
P.D. ¿Ya se casaron? 😂
¡Gracias! Aún no nos hemos casado, pero espero que pronto.
My thoughts upon seeing this routine was it was either a painfully obvious and standard trick that was basic in nature and P&T would know upon seeing it, or it was something novel and was goring to win.
Kudos to them!
Thank you for the compliment!! We put about 1,000 hours into creating this book specifically for the show with the intent of fooling them. We are SO HAPPY it worked! A lot of the trolls on here are very wrong in their guesses.
@@thecosmicromantics
Trolls?! People debating your methodology are not trolls, they are contributers. How arrogant.
You didn't see their comments because we deleted them. They say stuff like "you're terrible," etc... If you think us calling those people trolls is arrogant, then so be it! @@Lensman864
why are you replying with this same exact comment in multiple comments? I feel like you are one of the people they are describing and are upset that they deleted your rude comment@@Lensman864
That was a wonderful routine! I caught a little of the dirty work but certainly not all of it. The prestige was amazing. So well thought out! Bravo!
Thank you!
There's only one picture in the diary? Right?
Congratulations! 🎉 Fun & entertaining routine! 💕
Thank you so much!! We appreciate it!
Love these two. So original! I saw them at the magic castle in LA
Thank you!
You 2 are super cute together, loved this performance, you won a new fan, greetings from Mexico ♥
Thank you!!!
Love it, congrats!
Wonderful, fun, and clean book test. Count me as a new fan and a new subscriber.
This is awesome !!!
thank you!
Great one
I will miss Alyson, but certainly happy to welcome Brooke to the new season. AND any trick that is not a card trick automatically gets a 👍from me.
hahahaha don't we know it! Thank you!
Wasn't a big Allison fan in anything she did Jonathan Ross was the best
@@bobmendez7861 Allison's great in everything she does, a the way back to Buffy
That was a great routine, the vanishing page really astounded me, but the music was most magical.
So, congrats on the engagement?
Just WoWwwww
OMG! I AM WATCHING THIS ON DECEMBER 13 😂
Coincidence? Or FATE?
Yeah. I too thought the first bit of this was the most fooling 😂
do they have a code between eachother?
