If you try to research 3 or more ranks below, you only get 5% or 10% of the RP for the plane you're researching. It's a good idea to drop back down to a prop that you've already unlocked and use that to research the lower planes. Personally I would highly, highly recommend using the F8F (especially the one with 20mm cannons). The Corsairs are also decent. The research goes by faster if you are spading your vehicle at the same time, because of the RP bonus from modifications. So just working down the Navy line might be better. You will be surprised how much better Navy planes fight than the P-51, etc. Also I would hold off on the talisman until you have the AIM-9E unlocked. They don't perform much better, but you can lead the missile before you shoot. So you might have a lot more fun with it than the F-104 with 4 B's. Lastly, you don't have to research the foldered planes unless you are just trying to get EVERY plane. You can just get the first one in the folder and move down. Great videos!!

I personally think you should try to get the talisman on whatever you like better, however I think you should try also the strike line instead of the naval line, as they get the best sidewinder in the game at 11.3, and possibly be moved down to 10.3. The bomber line is also quite capable, with the new f111f having a first modification being the 2nd best sidewinder, the aim9l, and both the 9l and 9m are incredibly good. The f16 is no joke either, being highly maneuverable with aim120s and aim9l, it hits hard, but the f14 in the naval line hits insanely hard too. All in all, I think you should go for any line you want, but I would highly reccomend the strike aircraft line or the bomber line. (The f4e and f4 are no joke, and i know you love gunfighting, and the f4e can carry 3 or 4 gunpods I think, so you can literally just vaporize enemys) Also, what videos could you recommend to me for learning how to aim in realistic mode? Also, after you get the f15a, I would reccomend still trying to get the other f15, or even finish the US air tree.
U have to use a plane that is at the very Most 1 Tier above or below the thing Ur researching otherwise u geht a 70% Penalty on Rp. So please unvoreingenommen this so he is going to See it
Here's how to play the f100: get the aim 9e, keep afterburner on 97% of the time, stay above mach 0.90, stay on the outskirts, and hope you dont get uptiered
Buy a talisman for the f104A, the C variant is basically the same if not a bit worst, yeah u got bombs, rockets and 4 missiles (even tho AIM9B sucks) but u get a weaker engine a same aerodynamic. So to spare yourself from the pain of grinding the modifications for the C variant, buy to the A variant a good and sweat talisman.
quick tip those 2 nepalm are enough for 1 base and beign a pencil at that br that means u are probably the fastest so u can get to a base drop the bombs then move on with ur game
at 3:15 you didn't crash because of the damage; you crashed because of the speed. Going high speed will cause your plane to "compress" and many subsonics and supersonics turn extremely poorly when approaching their speed limit
Talismans DO NOT remove rank penalty for researching beyond 1 tier above/below. Only premiums have that perk. You will get bonus RP with tali, but researching tier 2/3/4 with tier 6 will be painful and inefficient
The f-104s got nerfed so I wouldn’t buy a talisman for that. I would wait for the sale and buy a talisman for the f-100d and then use napalm bc it’s op. But also keep in mind that you get a huge penalty if you research something that is lower or higher than one rank. So a rank 6 aircraft can’t research rank 3.
because f-104c can get to a base definitely because it is the fastest jet at its br, and it carries enough bombs for one base (the two napalm) you should get on the f-104c. Ive gridning 2.5m rp with just the f-104c cause of how fast it is

I think you should talisman the f-100. It has good missiles, and decent turn time. I use it a lot.

Little tip, you can actually use rockets as makeshift flares, while not really effective it does help when out pulling a missile

Dont grind the Propst with jets. There is a Limit of getting rp for planes one above or belohnt the tier of the plane you used

You should use the balistic computer for rockets and cannon, and btw u can use unguided rockets as flares against missiles
Tailisman for f 100 because the missles are good and and great turn time for what it is plus you get napalm for bases

i have a tip for you if you didnt know you can use rockets as countermeasures
On the f100/catfish rave some mighty missiles to use as flares

Save some rockets, r60s pull a lot and are all aspect and you can use your rockets as flares.
Not really hard to avoid the su25's lol. Or just fire a 9b at the r60 if launched front aspect
