I gotta correct some things, although defending the state of my Gear in Black Desert can be decently difficult, but we will work on it as well. Blackstar Armor my beloved, I will not forsake you.

i'm a new player so been watching a lot of "older" videos. i watched his reaction video awhile ago and i stumbled your reaction to his just today. it's funny watching his reaction.
i just graduated and the whole gear upgrade/progression is very "overwhelming" and confusing.

Bluesquad provided valuable insights during his reaction to your gear showcase. Given his extensive experience, his advice carries weight. It's understandable that you may lack experience and knowledge, as we've all been there at some point. However, it's a bit perplexing to see you attempt to mock him now, coming across as distasteful. It gives off the impression that you're simply reacting defensively to his feedback.

Blue being a teacher is all about helping players/ mostly new players with advice on which way to build while being as cost efficient as possible. He means well, he just spends whole afternoons seeing people ask for advice after building the lesser options or picking bad items etc. As long as you know it costs more, which you do. All good and have fun doing it.
Side note, how do you not have rebellious? you get all the crystals needed by doing the main story line, and the final crystal comes from a miniquest after doing Valencia 1?

Sorry could not watch whole video but i would like to point his reaction videos are parody and over reacting things. He is right what he says but he is making it to comedy. Dont take it personally. BDO is game that you have only 2 ways to build your gear if you want to be effective, If you want to do things "your way", you are wasing silver. and alot of it.
But gaming should be fun. Do what you want to do, but most of the critique you will get is because you made multi billion silver mistake on multiple things and you make it harder for yoursel.
Hey man, don't worry about the Blackstar Armor thing, I will tell you that I was one of many who had the TET Blackstar Armor too. but i will tell you when I had it at TRI, I was tapping it like crazy, I was doing it like you were, croning it, and all that crap. Once I got it to TET, I was so happy. I LITERALLY waited a WHOLE YEAR, to attempting to tap it to PEN. I wanted it to fail for no reason at all. And just got lucky getting it in the VERY first attempt to PEN. I was like "I ain't getting it to PEN" then just dink! got it PEN. There was alot of great memories going through with it.
Not to justify your choice or anything, but I recently came back to BDO from a hiatus late 2020. Back then I bought a TET Blackstar armor (It was still kinda new), on my return I decided to tap it with my Hammers and it went PEN. Now I have my Fallen God.
Fallen god had just released shortly after I bought my BS armor, and BS armor was the only way to get it. So imagine my surprise when it went PEN on a hammer, I didn't know about Magnus, I didn't know about C10 boss qualifying for Fallen God, I knew what I knew, from 2020.
if you're actually doing it back then, caphras was hell to get so pen BS isn't much worse than C10. Now it is tho
your gears and crystals really needs help but since your not that serious on the game and just trolling keep it up or maybe make an ironman challenge , but if you decided that you really need help people will sure do but hard part will be listening but you will see the difference and that's called progression , its the reason why there's a lot of guides out there cause BDO is overwhelming especially as a new player or a returnee since a lot has change .

If it feels like you're hitting a wall, you can change it then.
I recommend Ultimate Tet Akum and stuffing it with around 400 caphras if you have a character who doesn't have tuvala.

btw its still matter +1 ap still good if not hit the ap cap each grind spot you go well just play the way you want man its your choice but most the poeple will say you griefing your self just do life skill

What I don't understand why are you willing to spend billions on your own way and adventure but you are not willing to buy what is considered good and cheap crystal set. Like 40 million in this game is really not that much. As well do not focus on getting extra crit or attack speed, as cron meal, draughts and perfumes are going to make up for it, temporarily while grinding you will get those stats. As well if you hold on to all of your buffs till you get better gear to pop them then you will make way less money in that period of time, especially that those scrolls are not that rare. My suggestion - don't pick them up from challenge or black spirit safe tab if you really want to save them for later in the game. They do not expire there. Chenga tome as well is good only if you plan on questing, otherwise try to get something else, which you could actually get value from. Doing LOML quests as painful as it is unlock 2 crystal slots, which is huge and adds a nice feature of black shrine, which are bosses which you can fight weekly for extra rewards. Pit of undying you can unlock it by going for a suggested quest of crow's nest. Later on you can just teleport there and do your daily mission for fighting to get extra rewards, like crow coins and special currency for whatever you prefer.
I've played since the day of release, who the hell is that monstrosity in the thumbnail. Get advice from actual dedicated BDO content creators like Choice, Biceps etc. Not some guy that looks like he stares at the guy who stares at the playground.
No offense to him, it's just a stupid thumbnail lol.
nah Blue has multiple guides up regarding build paths. only thing that can be a notch against him is he suggests players build evasion if they're an evasion class not go DR until you can swap to evasion like everyone else would suggest. the up coming eva rework might make him right tho.
