Thanks for this tutorial, Kelik. After I clean out the carbon deposits as you have done I will be adding a catch can/filter between the PCV valve and the intake. I think Audi should have done this from the beginning, or at the very least having discovered this issue they should have engineered a revision to deal with it. It’s a very easy problem to solve in the engineering stage.
Does that intake manifold valve(that you buy on ebay) important or making problem if vacum leak on it,and when you drive uphill car doesnt have power or loose power?
Hello , ive a a6 2007 2.7 with bad intake manifold code . Car consume 10 lit in 30 km city , does it consume so much becouse the intake manifold ? In highway 7lit/100km
I am not familiar with the 2.7 engine but oil consumption is usually caused by a bad PCV system aka oil separator. The oil separator on the 3.2 is located inside the V of the engine.
What’s up my man!!! One question.. I have a problem with my ride, it’s been stalling randomly I’ve changed pretty much every single vacuum component cus it gave me vacuum related codes but now I’m kind of lost , help would be appreciated you are awesome!!!!
Hello man. Sorry about the issues you are having. Besides the codes related to the vacuum lines, are there any other engine codes? Can you describe how the stalling occurs?
That African Audi DIYer maaan!! My codes are crazy I got 01671,09217,04199,08853,08201,00049,00081,04375,04385, and the car runs some times 10 or 15 minutes las time I got it running last for two days until it stalled in the middle of a highway. I’m definitely lost in the dark here. And actually I’m trying to do the gasketting all around valve and cam girdle anaerobic sealant. Do I have to remove camshafts, chains and camshaft adjusters in order to do the anaerobic and spark plug tube gaskets? Thank for your help and keep up the good work “the best auto youtuber there is”
@@derekloya6993 I appreciate your message and sorry again for your issues. I have researched the codes and they sound very much like vacuum or EVAP issues. First I would suggest you make sure all the plugs and hoses around the upper intake are well connected. You can see me disconnect all of them in the following video: th-cam.com/video/dDQ006hVAVA/w-d-xo.htmlm58s Please check this and let me know your findings.
That African Audi DIYer well now I don’t have compression in cylinder #1 I replaced tensioners and I think I skipped a tooth when I installed everything back, i was pretty sure i left it on tdc when I locked it but now I don’t know what to do next. Probably replace the whole engine? How can I know if I bent a valve? Man this car is driving me crazy.
Besides the camshaft locking tools, did you use the engine locking pin that is to be inserted under the engine? The pin is what can tell you the engine was indeed at tdc. I did not have a compression issue so I did not research it and I am not sure how to tell whether you have a bent valve. I am sorry.

I also wonder why they haven't done so, even on recent models. Maybe there's a reason, a downside?

No new car sales. 😆

I have been following your diagnostics and repairs. Your step by step tutorials have been very helpful! How did you resolve this issue?
Thanks. I did this: th-cam.com/video/JNDpkA6HduI/w-d-xo.html

One question I have is where did you purchase the vacuum hose adapter you used in the walnut shell cleaning video?
I purchased it here: www.ebay.com/itm/233481787318
It says 2.0 but it fits the 3.2 too.
Very informative video!
Glad it was helpful!
Will this cause stalling?
Can you describe what you mean by stalling?
