Just fixed mine today on the same side. I want to thank you for this video, it saved me so much aggro and time and without it I probably would not have attempted the motor replacement . Now, can you do a series on fixing all the L322's crappy electronics, because the world needs it and it should get at least 500'000 views!
@17:02 You don't need to pull out the rubber trim completely, just the upright part at the back. The glass comes out easily even with the rest of the rubber seal in place. I just removed the motor yesterday, I wish I'd seen this video before as it would have saved me a lot of time. For now I propped up the window with a piece of wood until I receive the replacement motor.
thanks for the video, two things I discovered are that the hidden centre plastic clip won't just pull off the tab, and when reassembling, refit the door liner before fitting the window-bottom sealing strip into the clips (my fault was the end of the winding wire had popped out of the carriage due to a crack in the plastic clip supposed to hold it captive)
Thank you so much for your video,it helped me a great deal. Window broke, cable inside snapped off . Pain to remove the whole thing but with your guidance was easier. Thanks again.
Many thanks for this vid. Will help me a lot when I replace the rear NS window regulator tomorrow (currently window propped shut with a piece of broomstick!). Cheers.
Hi, Just want to thank you for this wonderful video, I realize the quality may not be the best, but still this video was more than what I need it to do it myself and save some serious money. And yes, to answer some of the questions which was also my concern; you do will need to take the glass out in order to be able to replace the Power Window Regulator, but is pretty easy mostly clips and self guide parts.
Me again I forgot to mention in this video you removed the seal or gasket around the glass on the window frame, that is exactly what made me think about it, but when I did it, I did not have to remove it, I just pull the rear side out a bit and the glass came out pretty easy, for the installation I inserted the glass the same way and the rubber seal was never touch or separated from the door frame.
Sorry for the bad video. I was on my own trying to film it one handed whilst trying to suss out how to fit a rear window. Thought it might help someone. It cost you nothing. I gather it helped everyone one else. If you nothing nice to say..... Say nothing!!!!!!!!
Mark thanks for the video I actually used it step by step and it helped, I'm just surprised you did as much as you did one-handed lol, if you still have your Rover and fix more stuff put it up, brother, question have you had this happen P0687, U0100, U0122 all at the same time and the info center saying transmission range limited any clues will help thank you.
Just followed this at the weekend to replace my broken window regulator. Saved me so much time and hassle. thanks.

Thank you! Just did my regulator, was lost without this video! Was a 15 min job, Can't believe the window needed to be removed.
Glad it helped. I'd love another but too much to go wrong
Thank you Mark! I was able to do the job thanks to you! Getting the door lock back in place and hanging the door panel on was tough! God bless you!
Glad it helped
Thanks very much I was able to follow your instructions and replace my broken glass. 🤗

Thanks for the video
Thanks for your comments. Yes all one handed. Got rid of the car now as main computer died
No. Otherwise I would of. You can't get to the bolts. A complete mechanism with motor is the way to go
Mark, can the window drive mechanism be removed without taking the glass out?
Karl pilkington has a Range Rover lol
Hold the camera still !!!
Thats not a beetle!!
jesus christ hold the camera still.
I did it one handed. Not to get subscribers just to help anyone out. If you don't like go elsewhere
Not really easy to see all ...... camera Never stop Bad video 😬
Everybody else managed. It cost you nothing
