    Go for dermarollers!!! It needs a lot of sessions to see results, also can opt for TCA peels. As all of these removes the upper layer of the skin, now this also depends on the dept of the peel.

    • @To.Ananya
      @To.Ananya  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      @@Isshooh I would say 45% easily. It’s been 5 sessions and I definitely have seen improvement. Also I’m taking it slow doing it once a month or sometimes delaying my session by 10-15 days just in case to let my skin heal first. I’m not in a hurry because I feel I’ve finally found something that gives real results. I’m not a professional plus I’m doing this at home so precautions are important.
      I had do a session 10 days ago but I still haven’t cuz I was busy as well as the weather change is ruining my skin so my priority right now is to have a clear pimple acne free base so I could do the next session. Try to minimise new active breakout because they ruin whatever work you’ve done so far.

    The moisturizer you are using is mildly comedogenic, and since you have acne-prone skin, you should not be using it. You can use Minimalist 10% Vitamin B5 instead. Also, you should not be using Vaseline on acne-prone skin. Although it's not comedogenic, it's an occlusive, and it forms a layer that might trap dead skin, causing more acne. Instead, you can use rosehip or squalane oil. However, if this routine is working for you, that's perfectly fine. But since I also suffered from acne for a very long time, these are all the researched things I'm telling you.
    Much love to you girl.❤

      @@Abhinavkumar099 Thank you ☺️ for everyone it’s different. For me, the redness of the scars, though still there, has become less prominent in 5 months and pitted scars have reduced significantly. I cannot tell you for sure how long it will take you to reduce their appearance as I’m figuring it out too as well as the fact that your scars might differ from mine in terms of intensity.
      Personally, the redness disappears faster and pitted scars take more time. One advice would be to ensure no new active breakout happens as it ruins the work you have done so far.

      @@Yoyolo-e1e I use 3 mm right now and do it once a month. It would be great to start off with lower range like 0.5 mm and then building up on it. If you feel some scars are too deep then you would have to increase the range in order to penetrate those scarred tissues.

    • @To.Ananya
      @To.Ananya  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sharmilamadiraju1224 Your skin might be going through changes because of starting glycolic acid and the effects of winter weather, both of which can be drying. We oily skin people need to realise that hydrating products are not your enemies. In fact, the more you dry out your skin, the more oil your glands will produce, which can make things worse.
      For winter, stick to a gentle, non-stripping cleanser like CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. If you prefer a foaming option, Simple Refreshing Facial Wash is a good alternative, though the former is better. Follow up with a hydrating toner-look for something with centella asiatica for soothing benefits or go for a creamy toner like TonyMoly Mochi Toner. For your moisturizer, CeraVe Moisturizing Cream is also good.
      Aqualogica Radiance+ Dewy Sunscreen SPF 50 PA+++ is not greasy for a sunscreen.
      When it comes to glycolic acid, use it just 2-3 nights a week. Overusing it can strip your skin and lead to more dryness and irritation.
      I hope this helps you:)

    Have you seen any difference in the depth of pitted scar in these 4/5 months? What serums do you use to reduce the redness?

    • @To.Ananya
      @To.Ananya  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sangitachakraborty9246 Over the past 4-5 months, I’ve definitely seen improvement in both the depth of my pitted scars and the redness caused by scarring. The scars have gotten smaller, but some of the larger, deeper dents will definitely require more sessions to heal completely.
      I’m dealing with two types of redness: one caused by scars and another from active acne. For me, the redness from scarring doesn’t respond to serums alone; these are two distinct issues that need different approaches.
      After a microneedling session, I stick to a very simple routine to manage redness. For the next 4-5 days, I only use a moisturizer and Vaseline-no actives or harsh products.
      When it comes to redness from acne, I personally use Plum’s Niacinamide Serum and the Some By Mi Exfoliating Toner. However, these are not suitable immediately after microneedling, so I avoid them for at least 4-5 days post-session.
      I’ve also found Centella Asiatica to be a great ingredient for calming the skin. My go-to product is the One Thing Centella Asiatica Toner, which works for soothing irritation.
      Hope this helps:)

      @To.Ananya  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@kajalsinghthakur5790 On the night of the treatment, I keep it simple by applying a barrier moisturizer and sealing it with Vaseline to lock in hydration. The next morning, after gently washing my face with a mild cleanser, I repeat the process-moisturizer followed by Vaseline. I do the same routine at night.
      I avoid sun exposure during this time, so I typically schedule my sessions on Friday nights. This way, I can stay indoors over the weekend. If you go out in the sun, be sure to use sunscreen.
      For the next 4-5 days, I stick strictly to this minimalist routine of moisturizer and Vaseline. I avoid active ingredients like retinol or vitamin C, as my skin is more sensitive during this period. Overcomplicating my routine or using too many products tends to cause breakouts, so I prefer to keep it simple.

      @@TanhaTazneen Microneedling is highly recommended for enlarged pores but if you want to start off with something lighthearted, go for a niacinamide serum. The results with the serum will take time and patience.

    Di i have same scars as your
    Which range needle i should use?

    • @To.Ananya
      @To.Ananya  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would suggest to start off with a lower range of 0.5-1.0 mm just to be on a safer side. For extremely pitted scars, increase the range later on.
      If you start with a lower range like this, you could do microneedling once a week.

    Hey do you use a sunscreen the next day? I hear you should wait 48 hours to use a sunscreen after microneedling.

      @@anoohyarao9713
      I typically schedule my microneedling sessions on Friday nights so that I can avoid sun exposure for the next two days. During this time, I only apply a simple moisturizer and Vaseline, even in the morning, unless I need to go outside. In that case, I use sunscreen as my skin has adhered to the required time.
      From what I know, the minimum time you should wait is just 6 hours before applying sunscreen, and that too a physical sunscreen.

    1 month For 3.0 mm ?

    • @To.Ananya
      @To.Ananya  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For the deep scar, use 3 mm once a month. The result will take time and sessions but it’s better to take it slow than to rush incase it causes more scarring.
      For small scars, bring the range down. Lesser the range, the more frequently you can do your sessions. Like for 0.5 mm, 2x a week can be done. :)
      Even if it takes time, it’s all about safety🫶

      An alternative to shrink appearance of pores is to use niacinamide serum incase you don’t want to do microneedling.
