He is no ordinary Islamic scholar.
A razor shape intellect cutting through multiple and dense layers of fable to uncover the source of legend.
Civilisations are ascendant when this level of scholarship and depth of research becomes there habit. They decline when a culture of mythology, cult or blind following decimates the research of truth.

I assure you, I do not have any personal problem with Ghamidi but he is a Mushrik and he will die as a Mushrik because he places fabricated books of so called Sunnah beside Quran. *But truth is: Rasool and all Companions of Prophet left behind only written Quran. They did not leave behind even one written page of so called Sunnah and Hadiths.*
Quran is pretty big book and God tells us in 6:114, 16:89 that for Islam, His book is fully detailed and his Book explains every thing for Muslim, but in whole Quran, we do not see even term of "Sunnah of Rasool". Only two types of Sunnah are mentioned in Quran, Sunnah of bad people of past; and Sunnah of Allah Azza wa Jal.
Again I say: that man is 100% Mushrik. To call him a Scholar is insult of Islam
